Alex captured our beautiful wedding at Dark Horse Vineyard, Lovedale in April 2023 and to be completely honest, words can’t describe how beautiful the pictures are. Leading up to the wedding, Alex sent us beautiful messages sharing how excited she was for the day and it just made us that much more excited.Alex is not just able to capture the events of the day, but the personality of the couple along with the emotion of your wedding from the couple and our family and friends.Post wedding we have the most amazing album of photos with a storyline of our day together. Throughout the whole process Alex made it so simple and clear and what is needed from us and we need to do. Admittedly myself and my now wife are not the most photogenic people, and yet she was able to capture candid moments where we just always seemed to look our happiest. Weddings are a joyous occasion, and you want to look back on the photos that rekindle that feeling again. The previews we have received are so lovely, the surprise Snow in May is stunning and it made us even more impatient to receive the full set. Thank you Alex! I had the pleasure of having Alex capture both my engagement shoot and wedding day, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, she was fantastic to work with.During the engagement shoot, she made us feel so comfortable and at ease, which really helped to bring out our natural personalities in the photos. Booking Alex for our wedding was the best decision we made. She made the day so easy on us, especially with the boys who don’t like to have their photos taken. She was recommended by a friend and we fell in love with her genuine, authentic style of wedding photography. Alex is warm and easy-going, always happy to answer questions in the lead up and was an absolute pro on our wedding day. She was across the timeline, helped coordinate with our MC, wrangled family - the works! Any time we had photos she made sure it was fun, relaxed and we were able to be completely ourselves which came through in all our pictures.Our wedding photos are AMAZING and perfectly capture the feeling of the day. As we've shared our photos so many of our guests have been surprised at the beautiful candid moments Alex captured when they hadn't even noticed she was around. She was completely unobtrusive and has an incredible eye for detail. She also sent us our gallery faster than we ever expected which meant we were able to see our photos for the first time on our honeymoon - so special. I can't recommend her highly enough.

The answer was immediately clear on our wedding day, and even clearer when our photos came through. Alex is so good at what she does. We loved her photography style of course but the way she captured our day exceeded our expectations. If you’re not comfortable in front of the camera don’t worry - she is so warm, lovely and puts you at ease! She has a great understanding on timings and open to making sure you get what you want out of the day and out of the photos.. e.g. balancing specific family portraits and capturing genuine moments. Loved the sneak peak photos, her enthusiasm and calming nature. Thank you soooo much Alex for photographing our wedding.

We can't recommend Alex more highly. We planned our wedding throughout COVID lockdowns and despite the multiple rescheduling and venue changes Alex was so patient, caring and helpful - she frequently checked in with us and gave really good advice and helped with planning the timeline for they day. On the day it was like having an old friend there, we barely noticed her capturing all our special moments and the photos are absolutely stunning
