Great old fashion service as it should be

Matt at Humberstones put a new clutch in my Land-Rover Defender after the thrust bearing collapsed and seized on the shaft. The job cost $4000. We were on a trip from Sydney to South Australia and were stranded by this failure.The new clutch works fine, but the garage failed to connect various wires and, importantly, failed to do up the starter motor bolts and left off one hard to reach nut. The starter functioned erratically from soon after we began our return to Sydney. By the time we got home, it would take 10 or 15 tries to start and soon after that it stopped working. It was then that we discovered the loose and missing fixings. We rectified that, but are left with erratic starting and other electrical issuesI rang Matt on 25 May, but he refused to take responsibility or to offer compensation.
