Hi guys, called into Brighton IGA which stocks your seafood tonight to purchase some gummy shark. Once home to prepare, it had a very strong ammonia smell, so strong was inedible. This I’m led to believe is due to sharks not being bled properly upon catching. $38 wasted.

Cannot fault the freshness of the fish or the cleanliness and quality, it was great. The question I had was... Where is the fish? The variety was so limited. Are we meant to ask for fish they have stored away? Aside from salmon and some tuna, there were three other styles of fillets, one lobster and some rock oysters... (and the frozen stuff). Did I miss something?

Customer service was very poor and an ignorant man said a comment to a young girl who then felt so uncomfortable to order again from mures fishing, now they have lost thousands of dollars from a big buyer as result.

Terrible. I was most disappointed with the flatheads fillets I purchased from here to serve to guests as part of our Christmas lunch. As I prepared them for the BBQ I discovered that they were full of bones, making them totally inedible. Sorry but with all the bones they weren't even fit to feed to the dog.
