Heritage & Heritage Funerals

Do NOT use. Extremely distressing experience during what is already a difficult time.We used Heritage and Heritage Funerals in Wantirna to farewell our mother.The only service that they provided which was performed correctly was the collection of our mothers body and her transport to the Cemetery.EVERYTHING else that Heritage was involved with was done wrong/illegally.........Twice they asked us to provide information which we had already sent to them.They asked me to sign a blank form Authority to have a known person cremated" prior to completing my mother's name on the form. I find this hugely disrespectful to any deceased person.We had provided two alternatives for clothing (as our mother had recently put on weight) we advised our preferred choice and if not possible we had provided an alternative. They combined the two and she looked hideous. Her glasses were not even on straight. I re-dressed her in the casket

There's possibly nothing more stressful than losing a loved one during a global pandemic with restrictions on services and laying a loved one to rest. We cannot thank Leonie and Heritage and Heritage Funerals enough for the care and support they provided. From the very first contact they were caring and supportive, professional and knowledgeable - all without being 'fake caring'. We felt genuine and sincere care for our circumstance and for our mum who had passed. They took great care of our mum, and they took care of everything we needed, and guided us every step of the way. We will always appreciate how they assisted us so well through a really traumatic time and we love that they are a family owned business with the family all involved. We highly recommend.

Janet, Gavin and the rest of your team at heritage & heritage are very professional, polite, flawless and go above and beyond in the service they provided regarding our mothers and other family member’s ceremonies.Mum passed away interstate. This wasn’t a issue for heritage, they helped make the journey home seem easy.We have never had any issues with the service they had provided over the several years as we have a very long family history with heritage.From start to finish felt rest assured we were all in good hands.Heritage & heritage funerals, I cannot thank you and your team enough.

My family and I are incredibly grateful to Jamie Heritage and the team for the genuine support that was given after we lost my lovely mum in December. Jamie's attention to detail was exemplary and contributed in no small way to mums final journey being exactly what was expected and promised. We thank everyone that was involved very sincerely.

Heritage have pivoted to being so clever and seamless with streaming online. Through these hard covid times, with restrictions ect, the heritage crew were flawless in their delivery of a service streamed online to include anytime above the 10 that were allowed today. We submitted multiple videos including a zoom tribute from friends (pre recorded) and it all went seamlessly throughout the service as well as playing dads beloved favourite music.Highly recommend this most caring, family owned business. Janet and Leonie's genuine care and dedication to get to know our dear dad was second to none. Their recommendations helped us think of ways to honour dad, the venue was beautiful and clean.Clearly take their job seriously and work hard to deliver a personalised, stress free and beautiful funeral. Lots of communication, a wonderful recommendation for florist and of course celebrant, Michelle was the perfect selection and she was just so lovely!I imagine in covid times and not, heritage are a step above the rest and I can assure you, your loved ones are in great hands.

I had the pleasure of dealing with Heritage over the last week. Although we dealt with them in a most challenging time, The way they dealt with my mother and family after the loss of our husband and father is nothing short of perfection.
