Koala Calamvale Child Care Centre

Koala kids was recommended to me by a family who's children had previously attended the childcare facility, I had looked at several centres in the area, before finally making the choice to choose this centre, my decision was based on a few things that are important for my daughter and my family, the centre is highly multicultural and clearly have an understanding of the importance of sharing and celebrating diversity across all cultures, the staff are amongst the most caring and compassionate people I have come across in a childcare setting, the transition to childcare from being home with my little girl wasn't an easy one but every step of the way I have had the full support of the centre, I do believe wholeheartedly my daughter is loving her time here, and it's very evident when she comes home with a bundle of information on what she has learnt.....

My older daughter attended after hours care for 1.5 years and my younger daughter currently attends this childcare. Both my daughters love this childcare. The teachers have been friendly and have assisted my younger daughter settle very nicely into her routine. The assistance provided by the teachers at this childcare has taken the stress out of both my wife and I - as we both work full time. When at work, we know that my daughter is being looked after and in a safe environment. When ever there was a special need for my daughter, I have been able to have an open and honest communication with the childcare management team and it has been promptly attended to or addressed. I would highly recommend this childcare

If I could give 0 stars I would. Do not send your children here, they have no duty of care for your children. What ive seen is shocking and has made me beyond furious.

My family has been part of this childcare centre for over 4 years. Indra, Leslie and the team are an absolute pleasure to have looking after my children. I have a 4 year old (who started in Nursery), 2 year old, and now a 10 month old all who attend this fantastic facility. The rooms are always clearn, the staff are always friendly and there are always interesting activities for the children to keep them busy. My favourite part is the lovely christmas party every year when all parents and children get together. Most of all my hat goes off to Indra and Leslie who are ALWAYS willing to accommodate me and my children when we're in desperate need of some help. I can't tell you how good it is to know that my children are well looked after in a fantastic environment. Keep up the fantastic work! Dana & Bojan

I highly don't recommend this place. Only in the name care is there but they don't care about kids. Three major issues food, learning and development. This care lacks structured educational programs. Most staff works for the sake of money but not passionate about their jobs. my son was there for 5 months and his behaviour gone bad, teachers did not care about him. The main issue was the food, food was never enough for kids and poor quality. Secondly, they don't have any structured programs for kids development. We changed the day care now, unbelievable and exceptional care. Kids are so much happier. We just realised that what my son missed out for 5 months. Last one receptionist and accounts person are very rude. We pay money to look after kids but these two women behave like they are some sort of dictators. Highly don't recommend this place. In total we moved out 3 kids from the centre and many more parents are not happier.

If I could give this centre a negative star I would. My nephews second day at this day care ended up with a hospital trio and then moved to the children’s ward after pure neglecting my nephew for how many hours we don’t know. When my sister come to pick him up he was whimpering and eyes red, and seriously not with it at all. When she picked him up out of the Walker he was boiling hot with a temp over 38° how did this happen with not one teacher recognising his decline in alertness or anything !!! YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELF !

My sister sent her child here for a few months and to say I’m disgusted in this childcare is an understatement. Firstly, management is so disrespectful and unprofessional. Secondly, this centre has absolutely no routine at all, whenever I’d go to pick up with my sister, her child would be in a different room every time with different age groups and she said that this seems to be ‘normal’ there. After what I’ve seen my sister experience I would never send my child here nor recommend this childcare to anyone!

Best child care centre I've found. Very helpful and supportive, kids have been going there for almost 4 years. Wouldn't ever change I love it and so do my kids

All the staff are very nice, caring and understanding. tidy place. my children are loving this place after 3 weeks o enrolling.I love it how they put suncream on children every time they play outside.
