I needed major repairs on my 2010 model Fiat 500 - timing belt, CV boot split, rear shocks - and had so much trouble finding a mechanic in the Coffs Coast area who could or would do the work. All the mechanics suggested South Coffs Motors and over weeks and weeks I had trouble getting a quote or booking with them. They stopped replying after my initial enquiries and our communications, I even followed up several times. I was really worried I'd have to risk driving to Sydney or Brisbane for the repairs and spent a hell of a lot more money. Luckily, my stepdad remembered Mills-Thom's and suggested I call them. I spoke with Aimee who was thorough on the phone, provided a quote within minutes and booked me in. She was upfront about the time it would take and the cost.While they were replacing the timing belt they discovered a damaged radiator - I was a bit stressed about the additional unexpected cost but understood it was important. When Aimee called to say the car was ready for collection, she said she had contacted several suppliers and found a cheaper radiator than first quoted. I am very grateful for her efforts.I can't recommend the team at Mills-Thom's enough. They are professional, transparent, very helpful, and great at what they do. Now that I've found them, I won't be using anyone else for specialist Fiat work. Thank you!

These guys were super helpful on a recent holiday when we had a leaking gas strut in Land Rover discovery. Managed to fit us in next day, ordered the parts overnight, called us on time to organise fitment and we’re super helpful and friendly. Excellent job guys, thanks for the great service!

I am extremely satisfied with the service provided. I am happy to recommend this firm to my friends and family. I never mentioned the fault in the transmission but it was diagnosed and fixed when the transmission service was carried out.

What a terrible experience, whats the point of a 12 month warranty on a fix if you're not going to honour it? I come in to get my door fixed and instead you've broken another part of the door lock and refuse to own up to the mistake, I've called multiple times and instead of having a human conversation I get interrupted and yelled at over the phone, the manager needs to learn how to talk to someone as a human, what a poor poor experience and terrible service, not sure how you guys are even in business with the way your manager talks to he's customers.

Man these guys got me out of a pickle and did so in a quick timeframe and reasonable price. Travelling between Brissy and the Gold Coast and my car went into limp mode. Couldn't go over 50k's. Had to get accom at Coffs and no mechanic would look at my car...except these guys. They put aside their workload for the day to diagnose my issue (spark plugs and coil) and in a matter of hours I was on my way home to have dinner with my family that night. Would have been stuck for days had i relied on the plethora of others i called who couldn't give a hoot about my circumstances. The bloke at the coffee shop (an old wealthy local sea dog and motoring enthusiast) said it's these guys and only one other mechanic in town worthy of trusting. Thanks Mills-Thom for saving the day!

It took about 30mins at the reception before the receptionist could get someone from the workshop to see me. It was time consuming, I do understand it is a busy time but the wait time shouldn't be that long. However, the services are great, people are knowledgeable

Our Toyota Coaster motorhome starter motor failed when I dropped into see a friend on my way back to Newcastle from QLD. It was looking like we were going to be stuck in Coffs for a week or more before any mechanic could have a look at it, until my friend suggested I give Mike from Mills-Thom's mechanical repairs a call. Mike went out of his way to first get the coaster to his workshop and then to have it fixed within a day. Real honest down to earth gentleman.
