Over priced and damaged my hair. She was rushing - said she was going to cut it. didn't. due to rushing around to other clients" - hacked at it and said done. Wouldn't recommend anyone here. Had to go to another hair dresser that cost half the price and done a better job. Paid 350 for Chemical damage - thanks Sam.The other ladies were lovely thou."

I came here for a haircut and a balayage for the first time and was blown away by the results and service. Rachael and the team are on another level and I am so glad to have given them a try. They are down to earth, honest, know their clients very well and make you feel at home. I cannot thank them enough! Will be coming back for sure

Wonderful salon with staff that are professional, knowledgeable and affordable. The quality and expertise of all hairdressers at Hype are an extremely high level. They are the best colorists for blondes and really give their customers the ultimate salon experience. I never leave disappointed!

Honestly one of the best salons in the West. I was a regular client for years but regrettably had to find a closer salon due to moving further away. Mel always made her clients feel welcome and the salon atmosphere was always warm and friendly. I was always happy with the job they did and Mel was a master (and very patient) with my fine, knotty hair.

Have you ever looked at those Pinterest or insta ombré hair photos and shown your hairdresser in the hopes of getting something close to it and settled for the close to inspired result? Well, when I walked out of hype hair studio after having Mel (the owner) do my hair, I walked out of there with my hair looking even better then the 20 photos I showed her for inspiration!! She was AMAZING! Best hair decision I have ever made in my life! I was so anxious and nervous as I had undyed virgin hair but I am obsessed with the end result! No streaking, perfectly blended, natural progression of color, everything you could ask for plus more!! Mel was not only highly skilled but such a kind human being!!! I loved her and her salon!!! Highly recommend!!

I have been to the salon now 4 times - they fixed a dodgy colour, they have cut my curly hair which is not easy and the girls have blown out my hair straight. The cost is reasonable and the girls are flat out - book first.I'm really happy with everything the girls do!

This place is amazing. Atmosphere was great. I spent the whole day there because of what I got done but Alycia and the other ladies made me feel welcome for sure! I have black Asian hair and went purple without any issues and without them damaging my hair. I took their advice and it all worked out soooo damn well. I love it so much! Thank you guys, I'll definitely be coming back!
