The Kiosk at Horseshoe Bay

Dont be discouraged to visit the kiosk by its business and overwhelming signage and rules. Since discovering this busy little spot I have become a regular to the kiosk. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food, I highly recommend the chicken caesar salad. There is quite a wait for food during peak times, but there is plenty of beautiful and relaxing places to sit while you wait. The junior staff are wonderful and try their best but I have been served a couple of times times by an older lady who comes across as rushed, stressed and abrupt and made me uncomfortable. Definitely head back for some icecream after your meal, the watermelon is to die for!

Just the best and freshest cheese salad sandwich. A little bit of a wait but so worth it.Staff were very polite and apologetic for the wait !!!

Handy when your at the beach, has EFTPOS but minimum $5 spend. We just bought drinks but im sure yhe food is good as well.

Why is a phone order a minimum of $20? I can understand protecting your business for a large order that is not collected. Today I rang for my 86 year old father so that the order would be ready when he arrived. He wanted 2 bacon and egg rolls but I wasn’t allowed to order them. When I asked why, the girl responded (aggressively.) “it’s gotta be over $20- that’s the rules.” She then hung up on me. I told my father and he said (too kindly I thought) to order 4 and he would share with a friend. So I rang back at least 10 times and the phone wasn’t answered. This is poor service and you’re missing out on money by 1/ having a silly rule, 2/ employing rude staff and 3/ not answering the phone.

Really bad food waited 40 minutes for 2 Pluto puffs and they were burnet and dry.would not recommend and it was covered in sauce even though I only asked for a small amount.

Had the standard fish & chips, really can’t go wrong with that but was actually pretty good. Wait time was about 20mins which wasn’t too bad given a busy Sunday.

Have been here plenty of times but after ordering a battered sav and receiving half of one- cut in half lengthwise-and swimming in oil I don't think we'll be back. Disappointing and a waste of money ad it was inedible.

The worst service and food definitely wasn't worth the hour wait. Will not be coming back. $1.50 per fish cocktail and they were burnt, dry and small. The place has gone downhill.

Been coming up here for 45+ year as a family tradition being a large family we visit the kiosk everyday to purchase lunch, time after time we are met with rude service and a lack of personality from all of the staff excluding the 1 male chef who is always lovely. The phones may as well be not in service as they never get answered for phone orders.Considering we have been visiting for such a number of years we have seen the high amount of staff turnover and have been saddened to see the kiosk gone downhill more and more every year.Considering you work in the most beautiful location in Australia it’s a shame a smile can’t be put on your face for the day.
