The ladies were lovely and very helpful. It was my first ever time trying on a wedding dress and although the one I loved wasnt in my size the lady helped pick out a very similar style so I could easily imagine what it would look like on. Very helpful and will most likely be purchasing from these lovely ladies.

Tina physically assaulted me and I could of had her charged and is now fat shaming myself and others online THEY ARE LIERS, THEY STEAL YOUR MONEY AND CONTINUOUSLY LIE. I have a Layby and according to the consumer laws I am entitled to cancel said layby anytime prior to finalising it. The lady’s at Brides and Maids are refusing to refund my money even though they have been told to by Consumer Affairs Victoria to do so. Consumer Affairs have now said this will be going to VCAT. Firstly they have left me very hostile voicemails Brides and Maids are now ignoring all communication from me. Don’t buy from this store. AGAIN THEY CONTINUE TO IGNORE ME AND LIE. THEY ARE A BUNCH OF LYING PEOPLE WHO STEAL YOUR MONEYTina then physically assaulted me and is now fat shaming me online avoid at all cost this is the worst place ever

Absolutely shocking service and horrible people skills. Would never spend a dollar in the shop with the way Tina treats potential customers. Don’t waste your time going near the place.

Went in to look at brides maid dresses and we were treated awfully and my friend was body shammed. Worst experience shopping.

Great place to get a deb dress! Service was terrific and would recommend this place if you are planning to do your debutant . All dresses are amazing quality. Can’t wait to pick up my dress when ready !

Cannot thank the ladies at brides and maids enough!Purchased my gown for my wedding last year and the experience has been nothing short of perfect. Held my dress instore for an extra 8 months as we changed our date and it was not an issue.She ensured the dress fit me perfectly and nothing was to much of a ask. Handmaid my veil to my request and even helped me with extra tulle so I could make a bow for my reception!My wedding was last weekend and everyone commented on how beautiful my dress and veil were.Highly recommend brides and maids to anyone looking for a wedding, deb or formal gown

Incredibly rude shop attendant, would not recommend this business to anyone.

Avoid at all cost! Tina is unprofessional and rude! She ruined the whole experience of buying a wedding dress for me! It’s meant to be a happy occasion. Instead all I was left with was a dress that was always to small to start with! I took in good faith how Tina sold me a dress( off the rack) despite asking whether she was going to measure me and order my size. Tina assured me that didn’t need to happen and this dress would be fine! Later down the track once questioned again she become rude and insulted me saying I had put on weight. Which wasn’t the case and I had actually lost the weight, but in any case how would she know when she doesn’t take measurements and just goes on her own experience as she will happily tell you that she has been in this trade for years. I now have a dress that doesn’t fit and $2200 out of pocket, Tina did say that she would re sell the dress but would take 40% which is shocking considering she was the one that didn’t measure me to start with! Since then I have purchased another dress in a different town which was a completely different experience. SUPRISE SUPRISE they had heard of Tina and had other brides in the same situation where she has sold dresses that are to small to begin with and then sting you for alterations which no doubt would have been costly! Or blame the bride for putting in weight! You should be ashamed of yourself!
