Lindfield Learning Village

Personally, I very much liked this school and was ecstatic when my 12 year old child got into this school. According to the website, their teaching methods are valid and the HSC scores were higher than I would have expected.This school's grounds are beautiful. My child is a bit different and has been so much happier as of attending this school. He has been telling me all about the cafeteria and all the different rooms in the school, which is very different to his previous school, which was much smaller. As for other parents, I would highly recommend sending your children here. my one criticism is that the catchment is smaller then i would have liked. Thank you for taking the time to read my review. An amazing school with amazing teaching staff. We have tried several schools and never have any of our children ever been so excited to go to school. Two years on and they have developed a love of learning. Unfortunately some narrow minded folks have felt compelled to comment on a school they know nothing about and have not actually experienced due to negativity from the One Nation Party around there being open critique of real life events and some gender neutral toilets. Well the toilets in our home are gender neutral so we don’t have a problem with it and as for critique of the media - well enough said. This school is teaching our children HOW to think for themselves - not what to think (which is what certain politicians would like). Highly recommend this school to others.

As a student at this school I can say that I have never been happier, this school has helped me not only with academics but with important life skills. The teachers here are amazing and are the nicest I’ve ever met. The school has the best facilities I’ve ever seen and is able to help you no matter what your needs are. I came to the school with pretty bad anxiety. I used to have panics attacks regularly and I would have trouble calming down but the teachers and councillors were able to help me and provide a workspace that was perfect for my needs. The learning style is amazing it lets students have a say in their own learning and have fun at the same time. Thanks for reading :)

My daughters have been at this school for just over 1 term so far. We weren't 'unhappy' with our old school but, after such a short time, already I can see a huge improvement. The pedagogy really works for my kids, they wake up keen as beans to go to school each morning. They are learning so much because they are motivated to learn, and they are learning 'how' to learn, rather than just 'what' to learn. The teachers are fantastic and the community is amazing.

Moving to this school has been a wonderful move for our family. While there were no problems at our old school, Lindfield Learning Village has really engaged our children as learners, they are excited to go to school each morning! The community is also really lovely, I have nothing but praise for this school and the wonderful work of the teachers and staff.

If your focus is academics then you will be disappointed. Recent Naplan results strongly reflects its failings.It's approach is very much experimental and I personally would not risk my children's futures on such unproven teaching methods.It is easy to be fooled by its new & flash exterior or the school's new age philosophy. At the end of the day... the tried and tested methods will allow your kids to achieve good grades and become well rounded as individuals.If educators want to experiment.... then let them.... but just not on my kids.

Amazing school! My daughter has been here since it opened. Can you believe she actually misses going to school when it's the holidays? The teachers are kind, empathetic and the products the kids make are astounding. If you get a chance to come for an open day and talk to any of the students, you will be amazed, as I have been, at how confident, articulate and thoughtful the students are. Can't rate it highly enough. No wonder the waiting list is massive.

Amazing school. Our three children have been there since it opened three years ago. Best teachers in NSW. Best practice teaching grounded in established contemporary research on education models around the world. The Principal is fantastic, facilities are second to none, and the parent community is great. Highly recommend this school.

We feel so lucky to be part of the LLV family. The school uses the most up-to-date research to inform their teaching practice, allowing our kids the space to grow and think for themselves. They are encouraged HOW to think - not WHAT to think. They are listened to and supported on every level. My daughter loves it so much she wishes there were no holiday breaks!
