Very interesting good mine in Maldon. Very peaceful during the day, love the history of how the gold mines were operating all those years ago and love the walking trail that takes you down the hill to the Gold Mine Museum.

Great fun for all of the family. With a 4 and 2.5 year old we were advised to stay above ground. Above ground tour was fantastic and reasonably priced.Trams are also worth doing!

Not much left other than a restored chimney and brick foundation. Overlooking the main road of the town, a reminder of a town founded on gold mining nearly two centuries ago
