Coffee was good, we also tried some of the special cakes. The German apple pie was tasty but a little crumbly.Service is a different story. Almost felt unwelcome to the owner. No music played and she told us the shop would close more than 20 mins before actual Closing time.Ah, and: There were no Toilets for guests.

Visited from Sydney. Coffee was smooth and delicious, 10/10. The German-style Mushroom and Halloumi Pancake was fresh, light, and tasty.

Really great coffee that stood out in a street of places serving coffee, but this was seriously tasty and well made. If you are visiting or working in Hahndorf, South Australia, you should visit. The cakes we tried were also very good and the lady who owns the place was just wonderful. So warm and friendly, and her explanation of why her coffee was so good (I'll let her explain, she will do it better) was clear and friendly. Guten Appetit is a little shop, easy to miss but absolutely worth searching out.

Great new cafe in Hahndorf where you can eat out, catch up and have an amazing coffee, tea, fresh juice or smoothie. There are delicious, healthy options for every meal - eat in and then grab a couple of beautiful fresh salads to take home for dinner as well as locally made gluten free sourdough. Run by a really lovely, friendly and hardworking team. Check it out soon. Thanks ladies!

Great food and coffee in a quaint atmosphere - all ingredients sourced locally according to the menu, so absolutely a place to experience the best the Hills have to offer.

Cute little cafe we had heard great things about in regards to their vegan menu. Ordered a chai latte and family ordered miscellaneous coffees. Not very impressed with the service, but the coffees were well made and served hot.Atmosphere-wise, Guten Appetit provided ample lighting but no music, which I did perceive as a gap in the overall cafe vibe.

Love the coffee ☕, one latte and a German apple cake made my day. Had a long drive back to Melbourne, a nice coffee is really helpful.
