Seeing Karen in my youth has meant having to unlearn her tactics ever since. Having since been diagnosed with CPTSD, it’s mindblowing to know I’d been seeing a therapist who completely disregarded what I was going through in real time. You shouldn’t need to get therapy to undo what another therapist did.
