Relaxed island vibe location with spacious rooms and verandahs and friendly staff. Clean. So close to Lagoon Beach, Thompson's Store, Anchorage Restaurant. Owners and staff very welcoming and happy to answer all questions about the island.

Absolutely incredible location, close to the two main beaches. Bikes to rent, fresh towels (as needed), and daily rubbish removal. Basic facilities. No pots or stoves. Loved having the tennis facility.We also enjoyed heading to the local bar for sundown drinks and snacks, which is a short walk from the accommodation and has an ocean view. The staff there were absolutely fantastic and it was the perfect place to reflect upon the days adventures, refreshing beverage in hand. Our trip wouldn’t have been the same without this daily treat to reward our hiking accomplishments!Favourite hike: Mutton Bird -> Rocky Run -> Boat Harbour (Mount Gower was incredible but steep, slippery, muddy, and there is no view at the top 70% of the time due to cloud cover).Favourite beach: Lagoon BeachFavourite bbq spot: Old Settlement BeachFavourite lookout: Mount Eliza (wow!!!)Favourite lunch picnic spot: Old GulchFavourite breakfast picnic: Neds Beach

We stayed recently at Blue Lagoon LodgeThe accommodation is ok clean and well set outOn the negative side the towels we were given were musty but clean.The bikes well not maintained gear malfunctions to the extent we were told don't change the set gears also added to quality the bikes had torn seats as a result we tended to walk.We were required to stay extra nights due to weather no help from the facility just you can stay in the same room no customer service.We were held up in 2020 but the manager at ocean view came and saw us and organised a venue for dinner. The was genuine care factor. Blue Lagoon had a telephone box.Finally we asked for some milk and told there was only 1 complimentary milk given for our stay.Great place but there are better venues we will not be back.

Blue Lagoon is excellent, the staff are friendly, the bungalos and clean, and it one of the best value for money on the island. I work occasionally on the island and have stayed in several accoms - this one is by far my favorite. I highly recommend staying here.

Love this place! It's the best location on the island by far, we had a fabulous room & found the staff will go above and beyond! Well maintained grounds, kid friendly.

Check what your really booking.rooms are like an outback motel very very close.It's old and poorly set out.Staff are nice and the grounds are clean. Location is good.
