A wonderful piece of architectural history in all its glory nearby to the harbour wharf it once serviced.Carrington has a quirky sort of picturesque landscape, layered in history of those years helping to build Newcastle and become a thriving suburb in its own terms.The Pumphouse is certainly a fine example of this opportunity to step back in time with numerous other equally fine heritage buildings, all within a few blocks of the Pumphouse for a meander back through history.
