Top notch parkrun! The course is mostly flat out and back course with a few minor speed humps and over trails and bike paths. Ideal for a fast time. Conveniently located near a cheese factory and a few beachside towns. Must try when down the coast. Regards @runningfysio

Beautiful Parkrun course starting beside the Bega River. Two loop course, first heading east over the river, returning back to start for second western loop. Combination of paved and groomed gravel path surfaces. Relatively flat course for those interested in faster times.

I use this walking track for my daily cycling regime. It's mostly level ground composed of either loose gravel or paved concrete. It passes over and along a river, around the old racecourse and can start at any point, either at the river's carpark, at the bus station at the end of Carp Street, at the north end of Auckland Street and more - the choice is yours. No matter where you start, the scenes, vibes and (weather permitting) atmosphere are well worth it.The walking track also can continue along afterwards, as it is connected to the older, paved path that truly begins at the end of Auckland Street next to the school - which itself is a beauty. The older section is roughly 5km, making the entire path both old and new about 8-10km of level, winding pathways circumnavigating Bega's top recreation grounds. The Council was also nice enough to install various comfortable benches along the way.Of course, all these connect to other paths which all lead to new discoveries!
