Terrible service.took my Ute there a Holden rodeo year 01 and 320000 km on it.lucky to be worth $4000. Needed head gasket which he fixed after 7 weeks and many phone calls to him and always said just waiting for heads to come back.when finally ready Derek said it was a $5500 bill.he changed many other parts without my knowledge and the ute just is not worth that..now 10 months later he still has it and most likely be keeping it.Avoid this place at all costs.Get a written quote in future to cover yourself.

Professional and trustworthy. I have dealt with Redline for many years, sending both works cars and my own personal vehicles for repairs and maintenance. They are prompt and honest and I highly recommend

Not even worth 1 star. Court case in process. He is a lier a thief and a con man. 6 months to find and fit a gearbox. Extremely over priced. No communication. Sais every thing has warranty. Than all of a sudden no warranty. It cost me $8000 for a $2500 gearbox. DO NOT GO HERE.

Contrary to previous reviews, we had a great experience with Redline Automotive. We were towed from a break down around the corner (organised through insurance company) and Derrick and the boys diagnosed our main issue almost immediately. They dropped us off to a hotel free of charge & started work the next day. They kept us well informed of the progress and other issues that came up through the fix with photos & phone calls. The keys were handed back the day after and we were looked after with the final bill.Would happily go back again.

So grateful to Derek and the Redline crew. Clutch went on my old landcruiser and being from out of state was needing to find a mechanic I could get it towed to so it wasn't sitting on the street for too long. Derek was friendly, accommodating and got the work done straight away, made sure my car was in good nick for the drive back to vic, and fitted me in for a couple of small jobs before I left. Highly recommend!

I actually give this a minus 5 stars . This guy is an intimidating bully A few years ago My car had a faulty spark plug and somehow the bill came to $2,000!! I tried to take it higher and fight but couldn’t prove this guy is a scammer. Had to pay to get my car back. Less then a week later the part he “put in” fell out just as I entered a busy roundabout...thank goodness the car had enough momentum to roll off to the side. I had my 3 small children in the car with me we could have died. Yet no one took my complaints seriously.

Terrible!Terrible!Not worth even one star. Derrick said would call me but never. What he said is not reliable and his wife who is the receptionist neither. With bad attitude, replaced parts without my permittion. And my car is not fixed properly but charged me a lot. Really bad service I ever had, avoid them!!

Used to work for this company . quit due to safety concerns the employer refused to address . trucks ain't maintained . faulty winches on all of them , also no service records of any truck . walked out . now employer won't pay wages owed for 3 days work or leave entitlements . gave employer option to repair trucks , even offered to do the work but got no where . mechanics are good blokes but only as good as employer allows . habit of using old parts to repair customers cars with old used parts and charges top dollar as if the parts are new . very abusive towards customers and shouldn't be in business with his attitude . amazed he still open today .

Meaybe we had just bad luck but...we left our car there cause we had problems with the central locking.without telling us he spend an hour work on it and charged us 120$ for it. But then the problem wasnt solved so he ordered used parts (which we really appreciated as he was the first time one to offer us this opportunity). But then it took nearly 3 weeks for the parts to arrive. Everytime we called he couldnt say anything about when the parts will arrive or whatever. Or he told us to call back which btw never happend so i ended up calling him again and again and again. After a while we were sick of it and told him we want our deposit for the parts back and we are definitely not paying the bill for sending the parts which took 2weeks longer than he told us it will. Plus niw we found out that he didnt even find the whole problem as we needed 3new parts and stuff done on the electric.Would not recommend this garage. Very uncommunicative and cagey
