Sparkle Nails

This is my second time coming to this shopFirst time was quite nice, as I was the only customer that day. Had all the attention, also got bottled water served. The younger ladies did a good job and they were very efficient and friendlyHowever, my second time is totally opposite, the old lady who did my pedicure, was very rough. When she trimmed the skin, caused the discomfort. I had to tell her, it’s painful. Then found my left big toe has been trimmed and bled. There’s no apology. Instead, only used the tissue to dry the blood and no wound cleaning. Not to mention about the potential skin infection. Not impressed with this! Will not recommend this shop to others. If you do come, make sure to find the younger staffs to do your nails, or tell them in advance not to cut your toes if you don’t want to get infection.

Came in yesterday just after 10:15am, they were already pretty busy but they seated me for my infill. One girl started my nails and I showed her a picture of the Hayley Bieber nails as inspiration and she said that was easy. She starts and it’s all well and good, I even thanked her for drilling under my nail to remove the hair colour stains without me even asking. That was really appreciated. My services got paused at the stage were my colour goes on and the technician gets changed to who I think is the manager. I love the base colour but my services go downhill when she applies the chrome, I let her know that the chrome powder wasn’t the colour I requested but she proceeded to do all of them that colour anyway. I show her the picture that I had showed the first girl and she says she doesn’t have that. That’s fine, inconvenient to say that now but I said I’ll just have the base colour they started with which was the same as her nail colour. She doesn’t take off the pink chrome (colour I didn’t ask for) but proceeded to layer the base colour on top of the chrome… I told her after that I didn’t like how it was looking but then say it just needs more coats… now I have bubblegum pink nails with a pink chrome underneath. not the natural sheer tones I wanted at all

was horrible, the paint went all around the outside of my nails and onto my skin and when I asked them to fix it they refused. I then got a friends mum to go in and they they said they would fix it. The nails all cracked after 1 day and I asked them to fix it and they refused. Would never go back and wouldn’t recommend it

Love the great service at Sparkle at Garden City. We're regulars there and get personalised attention, even a great coffee!My daughter and I only go to these beautiful people for our nails, and we always receive compliments for colours and designs ❤️

Some nails aren’t straight. Weren’t applied properly. Missed painting parts of my nail. Was also so painful having them put on. They did offer me to come back to fix them but I don’t have time & I don’t want the pain I went through again.

We originally went in to get paint only, but was misled and told yes you get shellac"Did not give me time to choose my colour

I used their Sparkle nails Carindale service for the second time, first time they seemed very interested in providing service as a new customer walking in the store. Second visit was not at all pleasant, staff members were not focussed and rushing while doing the nails, rough handling. You are charging full price for a relaxing time\service not for rushing and you should provide better service. Do not recommend, don’t want to go back again :(

Had my nails done here and left with my nail beds shaven down so much. They are now severely damaged, uneven, sloppy and I was shaking from the pain. Not only that my skin is also ripped to shreds. I tried explaining this to another staff member and she completely ignored me waited for me to just pay and leave. My friend I went with has been left with a open bleeding wound. Wasn’t our first choice but definitely wouldn’t be our last. Don’t waste your money here they will charge you more than advertised.

DO NOT COME HERE. The person (who I assume to be the manager) is extremely unprofessional, straight up rude, very two-faced and disgustingly judgemental. She spoke poorly about almost all the customers in the store, in Vietnamese!! I speak Vietnamese myself so I sat listening to her being super nice when speaking in English but then would turn around straight away and make mean snarky remarks about customers to her workers.One example:I told her I wanted a specific colour and she told me it wasn't a good colour. I said it was fine and that I would choose another one and began to look, but she said she would paint one nail to show me what it looked like and then remove it. She did this twice WITHOUT ME ASKING and after the second time she turned around to her workers and started talking about how I was causing her so much trouble and how I was an annoying customer because I kept ASKING her to change the colour. While I appreciated it, I did not ask for it so how was I the cause of her problems right??But again, if I did not understand Viet I would've thought she was such a nice and caring nail tech.She did my nails and was completely distracted the entire time. She would half paint one hand and then turn around to speak to clients or her workers and so I ended up with square nails on one hand and round nails of the other. The gel was also poorly applied because she kept stopping and starting so often.She kept calling customers ugly in Viet but I don't think she was one to talk.....Also, don't you dare spend over 5 minutes choosing a colour because she will complain about that as well !!
