Bay Breeze Boutique Accommodation

Bay Breeze is just amazing. The people go out of their way to make everything just right and with a smile. The location is perfect and the view over the Bay is gorgeous. We love it here!

I was on an overnight business trip, after being on the road from 4am to 4pm I arrived at Bay Breeze Hotel exhausted. The lovely lady at reception was very efficient & quick with my check in. She took the trouble of walking me to my room and explained the working of everything in the room and then proceeded to explain my dinner options. The room was fabulous, clean, spacious and well appointed with an amazing balcony overlooking the waterfront. Wish I could have spent another night here. Thank you.

When we arrived, we had a lovely greeting and although we were early, they welcomed us, told us how to find the local cafes/shops and said they'd call when our unit was ready.When we saw the room for the first time, our first impression was 'Wow, look at that view'. We were on the first floor, right on the water and it looked amazing.The big bed was great and the products provided didn't contain sulphur (finally!).We couldn't work out if there was Netflix so we had to watch 'normal TV' while we were in the room (which we never do!), but spent most of our time enjoying the view instead.The location was super convenient and we walked everywhere.The only thing to bring our rating down was the odd 'Toilet Kitchen' as we call it. It felt odd doing 'bathroom things' where you make a coffee etc. The shower (also in this open area) had no screen, so we used heaps of towels to protect the floor. You even can splash your toilet when washing your long hair! A glass screen would be amazing here.Also, it's open to the bedroom, so we had a code word to stop the other person walking in to grab a drink from the fridge if you 'needed privacy'.We could also hear water (toilets flushing & showers) from the apt above and had neighbours talking loudly on their balcony until 2am so sleep was a bit interrupted.But overall, a gorgeous place to stay and I'd recommend a water view room to anyone.

You know that feeling when you get so excited you feel like a little kid again?We'll that's how we felt when we stayed in the Loft at Bay Breeze.The view is incredible! The decor is so chic. The little creature comforts make the stay that much more special; comfy bed, Netflix, espresso coffee. To top it off, the staff were amazing.We've travelled the world and I can't think of a time when the hospitality compared to the genuine staff at Bay Breeze. I highly recommend booking direct with the hotel (and that's coming from someone who is shy and finds talking to strangers difficult). They were so personable, remembering details like us having 2 young children, simply from a vague reference I made about previously having to reschedule (which in itself was a seamless process). They made us feel so welcome and special, no one in the family wanted to leave.I can't wait to visit again.6 out of 5 stars.

This review is for the Rooftop apartment only.Positives: The apartment itself is really spacious and well presented. It has a BBQ, a fully equipped kitchen and washer/dryer which was really helpful when travelling with kids.Negatives: All bedrooms are facing a very busy road. We were woken up at 5am each of three three mornings while staying there. If you are a light sleeper, this is definitely not for you. The rooftop terrace is completely overlooked by another motel and an office building (see the photos - this is not apparent from the pictures on the booking website). There were also a large number of cockroaches, and their extrement was found throughout the kitchen drawers. Pest control is required as these seem to be living in the building rather than just fly ins.

I booked for a large group for a night, both Alison and Deanne were amazing and kind to select amazing rooms for our group. The rooms we stayed were spacious, but the bathrooms were challenging to use. Overall, loved this place and will return for sure ❤️

Perfect location, host was so helpful and meet us out the front when we had trouble finding driveway. Comfortable bed, very clean. I can with confidence recommend staying at Bay Breeze.

Had an amazingly relaxing time, room was clean, fresh and a great view. Location was perfect, just park the car and walk everywhere. Was wonderful hearing the watee against the rocks during the night.Thank you to Alison and the staff, will be coming back for sure.

Wonderful over-night stay in Batemans Bay. The room was beautiful, with an unexpected upgrade, and exquisite views of the harbour. Staff was welcoming and helpful, letting us know the best restaurants in the area. Highly recommend!
