A coach stop. Need more toilets and cleaner ones. No paper. No hand paper. They would have known we were coming

Best place for a stop off and refresh. The food is really good for a truck stop! We stopped here as a halfway point between our house and our holiday in Coffs Harbour both ways. Great food and clean toilets which was a great plus

Awesome burger and an outstanding classic thick shake! Had a warm welcome on a warm day, was great to sit in the aircon for half an hour with lunch and a thick shake.

A great service station with a decent little take away style food counter. The food was very good but slightly on the expensive side which is often expected from a roadhouse that mainly caters as a petrol station. The indoor dining area is rather basic but has a tv and a tourist brochure stand the area was very clean though. The main window has a very picturesque view of the mountain.

Food took a while to be served and was undercooked and very average. Their sandwiches aren't great. Chicken wings were crispy however the chicken wasn't cooked enough.Spacious place with lots of seating though.

Food probably as good as it gets from a servo. But the wait time to just order is subpar. Also if you just want to pay for fuel you're going to wait 10 min just to do that . But I guess if it's busy its for a reason although they could open both cash registers and make it a whole lot better but no they would rather stare at you

We saw signs on the highway for many kilometers stating that Bulahdelah road house had food and toilets and after exiting the highway to get there we found only the female toilet was open, the male toilet was locked and there was a sign lying on the ground stating that it was closed due to damage. The ambulant toilet was open but the bowl was almost overflowing with excretement. Men and women were lined up outside the women's toilet. We went into the shop and I asked to see the manager and when she appeared she asked who had a complaint and I admit I was not as calm as I could have been but I said if you want people to come here you need to fix your toilets they are discusting and she said don't you speak to me like that we had them fixed but someone damaged them again. I reiterated what I said and walked out. This was on a week day and with the amount of money they were raking in on fuel and food I'm sure they could have afforded and emergency plumber. They should also have at least placed a sign out on the road stating that the toilets were unavailable. We drove around town and got food and a toilet break else where and there was a big line up of cars and people at the public toilets. If we had known about the lack of facilities we would not have wasted our time and fuel exiting the highway and driven a little further.

Not sure what my expectations were - chips were freshly cooked but harder than nails crunchy and darker than your average chippies. Ordered a kebab and made it a small combo. I did get cheese on my kebab yes - but pretty sure a small chips, plain donor kebab and can of drink isn't worth $24+. Took 15mins of waiting.. I would have amended my order had I been told that - after lunch on a Tuesday so not busy at all. Restaurant looked pretty grotty in truth, so takeaway were a better option. Sorry to seem a grouch but $24 is excessive for the meal, given circumstances.
