Royal Military College Golf Club

In very good shape good value especially on Mondays

This is a great course that is set in the Royal Military College precinct of Canberra.It a welcoming club with only nine holes with most holes repeated for the full eighteen holes, but certainly value for money for a round.Come along and enjoy a round.

A lovely course in really good condition.

There's a very smart look and feel to the place. The golf course is well maintained, providing a good array of challenges. The staff were friendly and attentive.

Went to play a round of 9 today and have never experienced such an un-collegial golf club.The facilities itself are good, the golf course is well maintained but the members are so entitled. People were skipping holes to go in front of us because they thought our group of 4 was going slow. We started with someone mowing the first hole which caused a massive backlog. Then groups skipped ahead of us only to be slowed down again at the group who was going slow before us.To top it all off when we returned to the bar to get a beer at the end of the day, the woman serving us told us we were going too slow as other members had complained and that we should have let them play through. While we would have allowed other groups to play through the course was fully booked with slower groups ahead of us making any efforts to play through redundant. What an awful experience and would not be returning again. Whilst there were beginners in our group, how is anyone supposed to start playing golf if they’ve never played before.Will not be returning and will be telling friends not to go there.

Love this place, challenging little course with fast greens.The people you meet there are mainly military, present and past,always enjoy my time there.The bloke behind the bar does an amazing job, he does everything,Barman,Starter ,enquiries, with no fuss ,he's a rarity these days, the club is lucky to have him

RMC has all the qualities of quiet Aussie golf courses: empty holes, gum trees, the occasional quietly cursing golfer. It's a good place to have a hit and a quiet coffee after you've destroyed all hope of achieving a birdie. 4.2 out of 5.

Friendliest golf club in Canberra and a tough little course, great little clubhouse

It's fine for a hit. Pace can be slow, tees a bit worn out, short course and only really 9 holes. But the price is right.

I enjoyed my visit to play 18 holes today. Two members made me feel welcome. Course was in good condition.
