Grant and the team excell in their line of work. The quality of their work and customer service is very rare these days. They keep you updated so there are no surprises and the prices have always been very fair to me. I have since moved from Bannockburn but I still travel the 30 minutes to bring my cars here because I know they'll be looked after and the job done right by a good crew.

Having a problem with our caravan brakes, while traveling through the area, we were recommended to try Golden Plains Car service. We had called several other organisations recommended by RACV.We contacted them and spoke with Grant the owner, from the very start he was helpful and prepared to assist us. The whole experience was friendly, courteous and professional.Grant checked out our caravan brakes and the control unit in our vehicle and drove into Geelong to purchase a new control unit.We think that the cost was very reasonable and thank Grant for his excellent service.I would highly recommend this company.

Cannot speak highly enough of these guys. We were driving through town late on a Friday afternoon to go camping and the wheel bearings went on our trailer. Called these guys and they said to come straight in (the other mechanics in town knocked us back). They had us fixed up and ready to continue on our way in half an hour. Very reasonable price (they could have stuck it too us given our predicament), and even threw in a couple of stubby holders for us. Use these guys, they are awesome!!!!!

Had an issue with my car for 20000km that my previous mechanic couldn’t fix. Drove past GP mechanical and Grant fixed the issue on the spot and became my new mechanic instantly. Great genuine service. Highly recommend.
