Bunya Mountains Tavern
Been here several times, but a couple of days ago took visitors there - bit embarrassing, waited at least 30 minutes for 4 coffees. Asked for 2 in cups & received all 4 in mugs! Always been good here, but felt like we were an inconvenience, tho waitress was polite, just disinterested.Pity, as a lovely area.

The food is fantastic and the atmosphere is charming.I have lunch or dinner here every time I'm up the Bunyas and it's always superb. One middle-aged waitress was very rude on the last visit but that's the only bad experience I've ever had here. Even with her snarky comments it was still a great dinner. The other staff were lovely.

Bunya Mountains Tavern
Fantastic venue with lots of variety. We participated in the whisky tasting workshop, had afternoon tea and then dinner. All food and drink top class. Loved the china teapot and cup combination. Gift shop and great tasting take away coffee, just next door too. Cosy and comfortable with friendly, helpful staff. The perfect place to chill and relax on a drizzly cool weekend.

Beautiful location and lovely service but the food was so overpriced and terrible!The steak was good, although I had the curry and it was 30 dollars for plain rice and coconut cream with a few stray veggies in it.Service was lovely but they could see how bad the curry was and didn’t offer any discount which was disappointing.

We dined for my birthday there recently. Absolutely wonderful,great cozy atmosphere,service was wonderful. There is a whiskey bar there with an incredible array of warming toddies. I dont even like whiskey,though may have been converted.

We had a wonderful time staying at Bunya Mountains Tavern. We celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary here! Enjoyed a lovely dinner with a glass of free champagne - thank you - and the whisky tasting workshop was very informative and fun! Thank you again for accommodating us and making our anniversary one to remember.

Food was absolutely delicious.... some difficulty communicating with virtually non English speaking staff.... also a big group moved a bunch of seats near ours and were very loud, the whiskey list isn't accurate or spelled correctly... a little sloppy

We dined twice during our stay and the meals were well presented, value for money and cooked to our liking.. staff were very friendly and catered to our every need.. nothing was to much trouble.. we would highly recommend the Bunya Tavern when visiting the Bunya Mountains.. Deb & Dallas O'Brien
