Ming is very pleasant to work with. He is very gentle and patient with my kid. He customises the lessons so that my kid can enjoy learning the piano. He is a good instructor and I would not hesitate to recommend.

Ming is an amazing piano teacher who I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone I know. My children has started playing piano before we found Ming, but only took off from Ming's lessons.Ming is incredibly patient and gentle to the children. He customises the lessons to meet the needs of each child. He does not only teach them the techniques but also the feel for music. Under his inspiring guidance, I can see that the children do not just play the music to get to the right notes and the right beats, but also play it beautifully and musically.For those who are interested in AMEB exams, Ming has also helped my children to achieve excellent marks in the exams.

I have been learning with Ming for a term now. He has helped me polish my Chopin piece, Nocturne in C# minor No. 20 Op Posth I have been working on. As an example, I have learnt matching difficult polyrhythms together and other advanced techniques. I am more than happy with his teaching as he is really flexible and making sure I learn something every time. Looking forward to work on Chopin's Nocturnes Opus 9 no.1 & 2 with Ming next term.I would recommend Ming to adult learners who wish to learn at their own pace & who need a flexible teacher at all levels.

Ming is a wonderful piano teacher who is extremely patient and committed to ensuring his students achieve their goals. Ming been brilliant as a piano tutor for my son, teaching him some intricate techniques and nuances that other instructors have missed. Ming also prepared my son for the AMEB music board exam, for which my son got a perfect score!

It is sometimes difficult to find a piano teacher to meet your needs. Often they only teach beginners or have a specific technique they only use.It seemed to me sometimes they take the view that because you are older you don’t need to or can’t learn to play reasonably well and just don’t put in the effort.I found Ming was happy to take me on and to adapt to what I wanted from a teacher. He helps me to overcome problem areas.I am pleased to be able to highly recommend him to others
