Alaras Turkish Pide House
A good old trusty Turkish restaurant. We always get the banquet menus at Turkish pide places and this time was no exception. Everything was cooked nicely and tasty.

Ordered a beef hsp. Meat was dry, but the chips were fine, at least they weren't soggy and drenched with oil. Good portion for a box worth $15. Baklava was fine. Good location, friendly customer service.

Alaras Turkish Pide House
We tried Alaras Turkish Pride House for the first time tonight and grabbed the family banquet. We found the food tasty and in generous quantities. We had four different dips and they were all delicious, with different people all having a different favorite dip. Chicken and lamb skewers were nicely charcoaled and well marinated, although I found the koftas a bit spicy. Plenty of bread, dip and pizza left over for lunch tomorrow. Will definitely be back.

My parents picked up two feasts for take away with pides, skewers, various dips, bread, and rice. IT. WAS. ALL. PHENOMENAL. This is the best Turkish Döner pide I’ve had since my time in Germany, if not better. Im never buying hummus from a grocery in Canberra again, I’ll just stop here. And its my honest belief that the negative reviews Alaras has received are likely from competitors who cant measure up on their own merit. Thanks fellas! We’ll see you again soon!

Alaras Turkish Pide House
The food is fine. Please be careful using the online ordering platform. When I did takeaway through it the restaurant didn't provide part of my meal. They refused a refund as it was through the platform and directed me to the platform, however the platform seems to have been shut down in 2018 and won't communicate with customers. It's not enough to do a chargeback, but enough to be annoying.

Delicious food & service. We'll definitely order again.We ordered Turkish Pide (Prawn) and Zucchini Fritters for delivery. Both dishes were delicious and flavorsome. The Pizza had a nice tasty spice to it, coming from the marinated prawns.The restaurant staff were lovely to deal with.

Alert! This is not a Turkish restaurant! Although the name suggests! The mixed kebab with rice we ordered wasn’t pleasant to eat! The plates and glasses are not washed even, you could see finger prints and hairs all over! We came here to have launch but couldn’t eat the food we ordered! Hygiene is the lowest you could expect !

My first time in this restaurant and I am impressed. Ordered a Mix grill, grilled fresh and was ready in 15 mins. Worth the wait. Quantity was got enough for two adults. Definitely going back.. to be updated.

We had some food for lunch as the food looks nice and fresh however they couldn’t meet our expectation. We felt the lack of taste in food . They have the good way of serving but seasoning ,marinating and more attention to give flavourful taste is required.
