No Basics | Designer Hire

I cannot recommend hiring from no basics enough! They have such a boutique selection of dresses that are so comfortable and I never fail to get compliments from people asking where I got the dresses from. Their service has been fantastic, always on top of messaging me about a fit of a dress and giving me fantastic alternatives if a dress wasn’t going to arrive on time.

I hire dresses often and No Basics is my favourite company to hire dresses with! Great range, easy to communicate with and always feel great in their dresses.

I have used plenty of dress hire companies and after using no basics I won’t ever hire a dress from anyone else. The process was so easy! My dress arrived on time and in perfect condition. The return process is made simple with a bag provided. I’ll definitely be back!

Completely unresponsive and really disappointing service.They advised the dress I hired would arrive in time for my hens, and when it didnt - (not their fault Aus post had delays), they completely stopped responding when I tried to see if I could arrange a credit.When I sent the dress back they could see it was unopened.Feeling like I should have held the dress hostage until I got a response haha waste of close to $300. Will not be a repeat customer

The team at No Basics are amazing!! They went above and beyond to get me the perfect dress for my hens and I could not have been more happy and grateful to them, it topped off such a perfect weekend to have the perfect outfit!Thank you guys, you made my day! Could not recommend more! I hired the Khirzad Femme blouse and it was perfect. The service is amazing, extremely quick to deliver just in time for a last minute event. I spoke with Lainey and she was so lovely and responsive to all of my messages. I’ve never had such a seamless experience with a hire company and will definitely come back for all my future events.

Very disappointing experience with No Basics hire - don’t bother hiring through them.I recently ordered a dress which arrived on time but had a blue/black mark on the side, unfortunately obvious enough to make the dress unwearable.Of course I didn’t expect the dress to be brand new, but the dress certainly wasn’t in “immaculate” condition as per their classification.The owner of the business said they would consider “reclassifying” the garment, but I was still stuck without an outfit for my event.They didn’t mention anything about a refund, partial refund, or even a credit to hire another item. Nor have they even replied after I sent them a follow up email.Pretty disappointing experience and terrible response/customer service - it could have been resolved pretty easily.I rarely do Google reviews but I am keen to ensure others don’t go through the same experience - do yourself a favour and avoid hiring anything through them.

My first hiring experience was great! No Basics had a beautifully unique selection of clothing that can be used for so many different types of events. The website was easy to use when selecting your garment and securing a date. They arrived on time and very well presented. I love that you don't need to do the dry cleaning yourself! It was an all round, easy process and the team went above and beyond to make sure that I had what i needed and that I would look fantastic. I got so many compliments on my outfit. I am well on the hiring train, will be back for sure.
