Ripley Valley State School

I go to this school and I highly recommend. I have been at this school for..2 years a 2months and don’t regret a second of this time

I have two children who attend the school, both of which have special needs. The school has been amazing with each of my children. The teachers go above and beyond for both children. Communication is fantastic and both of the children's teachers go out of their way to keep us updated on how they are doing and how they are going to support them. They have a lot of knowledge and ideas on how to help my children settle into school and learn effectively in a way they can manage. The SEE team are wonderful and anything that the children have needed they have accommodated and help us work towards to make their learning experience smooth. Can not fault this school, it's a beautiful school with beautiful facilities. Fantastic school.

Over the course of 2021 and 2022 my family were very vocal about our disgust at how this school was run. My daughter was miserable and I loathed having no other choice for her education. Now, things have changed for the better. Issues have begun to be addressed and it feels as though the parents are actually being heard now. The atmosphere has definitely shifted as a result, staff and students seem much happier. Still some work to do but so far this year has seen many positive changes occur.

This school is absolutely appalling, not only do they misuse your child’s special needs funding, they will give you false promises and lies about how they’re “helping your child” but don’t. This school was also under investigation for military like abuse where students couldn’t speak during eating times and if spoken they weren’t allowed to finish their food. This has been the worst school by far my children have attended. Alot of staff need to be fired.
