Seems to good for education, however my daughter attends the helensvale branch. She was given the opportunity to do a traineeship, she was so excited, went and done the trial day, absolutely loved it and was told that she had it. She was absolutely ecstatic. She has now been informed that because she is unable as she can't drop any of her subject. These kids are meant to be getting built up, not knocked down.EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!!Definitely will NOT be recommending this place, now once again I have to pick up the pieces

My daughter loves this school, and is so much happier here than at a main stream school.

As a former student, I came to this school because my mental health issues were causing dramatic implication on my school performance at Beenleigh State High School, when I had my interview, they said they would offer nonstop support as they do for all their students.I have been at this school since March and it is the most pathetic, discriminatory school I know. The teachers do not offer support in class, when I’ve made meeting with the principal and HOD, I was made to feel like everything was my fault. I explained the issues with teachers not helping, and they disregarded it. After another meeting, I tried to explain the situations in the classrooms (teachers throwing things at the front of the room, slamming doors and leaving the class for 5-10 mins at a time), but the principal told me to shut up, interrupted me every time I spoke, was constantly yelling over the top of me and told me to get out of his school. He said “he can say whatever he wants to me in his school” this does not include abuse and threats in my opinion. The school does not communicate with its staff nor students AT ALL, they do not care for the mantel health or wellbeing of their students. The “creator” of SERLC is currently sitting in classes to see if her program “still works”, with the new ATAR system and no support for the teachers, this system clearly does not work anymore. I do not recommend this school, I wish I had stayed in mainstream school so I would’ve actually had a future and support. Do not enroll your child in this school if they wish to go to University one day.
