I've been learning and practicing Iwama Ryu Aikido in Seikatsu dojo together with my son for the last 7 years. Highly recommend for kids, teenagers, adults who want to learn Aikido in a safe, friendly and high quality teaching place.

Awesome dojo with amazing teachers. Not just self defense but traditional teachings and history. A great social group of students that are always friendly and happy to help out. Kids classes are also excellent with patient and supportive teachers.

Seikatsu Aikido is a great place for learning and training Aikido. My littles started at the age of 5 and have been training for two years with Sampai Fil who is a dedicated and passionate Aikido instructor.

I've studied a few different martial arts at various clubs over the years, and I can easily say this one is the best I've ever joined.James Sensei is kind, understanding, and always takes the time to make sure you understand the technique being practiced and its applications. He's an amazing teacher who genuinely wants to see his students grow and succeed. The club itself is full of friendly people who support each other, and newcomers are welcomed with open arms and made to feel part of the team.Seikatsu Aikido is the perfect dojo to join if you not only want to learn the art of aikido from an experienced and knowledgeable Sensei, but also want to feel part of a community-minded, welcoming club that will encourage you to succeed.Also, burgers after gradings! I have a student of this dojo for a year now and have been very happy with it. The people are very friendly and helpful, the person in charge is very knowledgeable and approachable. And Aikido is an advanced martial art that focuses on using the force of an attack against you as momentum to disable the attacker. It makes a lot of sense

Seikatsu Aikido is a serious dojo that embraces new and committed students of all levels. I joined the club after several years training interstate and was made very welcome. The dojo has a good representation of both male & female senior students, age groups and skills from beginner to +10 years on the mats.Sensei James is an excellent and approachable Aikido instructor who teaches traditional aikido with a martial focus. I have been training with him for many years and have found both Sensei James and his students genuine in their aikido and fun to train with. I enjoy every class and learn something every time.
