Excellent French bistro. We had a Saturday lunch and the food and service was superb. We had a three course meal and had to try their oysters as well as the escargot for an Entrée and was not disappointed. Very good selection of drinks as well as non-alcoholic options.

My first ever experience at a French restaurant is one that I only have positive memories to take away after I left.The food was a good as it gets and I loved the presentation of it.I had the Escargot L 'Alsaciennce (Snails) Salmon Tarte Flambee & the Poulet A La Crapaudine (Chicken Spatchcock)The host Arvid was extremely professional and extremely friendly as well.He did an amazing job explaining the items on the menu and their history, helped me out a great deal when making selections and I was able to learn a lot more about French cuisine thanks to him.I also got to speak with him quite a bit through the night about Europe, every day life and even Star Wars.Thank you so much for the wonderful evening, I will definitely come back for more :)2nd VisitNot surprised that Arvid has worked at 5 star hotels and restaurants before after the customer service I experienced today was truly exceptional. Not that there was anything wrong with my last visit but my perception today was raised even more after he let me know a bit more about his past working experiences. I very much appreciated the hospitality again today :)Birthday Dinner Haig Rd BistroI wanted to give my experience a 10/10 but wasn't able to because I asked for candles on my dessert but didn't get any.I was given the all time classic sparklers instead 11/10.Cote De Boeuf is an amazing piece of meat, medium rare, it was so easy to cut/slice, definitely like a hot knife through butter, excellent stuff.Crepes Suzette for Dessert, my taste buds didn't want to enjoy the grand mariner sauce to the fullest but I made sure to eat it all anyway, no complaining just eating.Spanish cheese for the Fromage Du Berger cheese platter, it was really good, enjoyed the variety of fruits that accompanied it.Arvid being the great Maître D' as always throughout the night was also kind enough to lend me an umbrella, it was still raining and was getting even heavier.I got home safely after enjoy a wonderful night.See you again friend :)

The food and service did not disappoint! When you imagine a high quality French restaurant, this fits with every expectation. Service was excellent, they were very attentive and engaging. And the food was incredible. I ordered the souffle and the fish and the quality was 5 stars. Everything was delicious and flavorful, and I really felt like I was getting the best quality food. Would highly recommend!

We celebrated at Haig Rd Bistro with a three course French cuisine and a couple drinks.The waiters were very friendly and attentive. We felt we had top service this evening. Kudos to the waiters.The dishes were very delicious, they had strong flavours but achieved a good balance between them.Highly recommending this place. I will visit again.

My best French dining experience so far! Everything was perfect - a cozy and relaxing atmosphere, friendly staff who looked after us very well, delicious food of high quality and reasonable (huge, in my opinion) portion, the Escargot and Tarte Flambée are must have’s! I always get a bit stressed when eating at French restaurants (lol) but I felt very relaxed and welcomed tonight. We will definitely be back again :)

First time here for lunch, second time overall. We had the two course meal as we decided not to have desserts. Arvid from Berlin was an excellent host. Three meals were excellent and good value. Coffee was great and the unlimited sparkling mineral water was a real boon on a warm day.The escargots were so good that we ordered a dozen more. The duck egg pate special entree was delightful and totally unique in presentation. The Angus eye fillet (20g) steak cooked medium rare with red wine jus topped with French mustard was so tender. The wild caught Barramundi wrapped in paper with garlic and tomato brought the taste of the ocean to the palate.

Visited during Easter long weekend. Rally mouth watering entree and we were so excited for mains but it was nothing more than a big disappointment. We ordered duck and a fish dish. Good presentation but both had no flavour and was nothing more than glorified pub food. Had to get both dishes packed for our furry friends and we went to another nearby restaurant.So disappointed

Really excited to bring attention to this newly opened cute little boutique French Bistro. It was so adorable and so welcoming. It honestly felt like l was eating at some family members house. The food itself was spot on. Everything was cooked to perfection and you can tell that the chef and owners have a real passion for French Cuisine.To start with if I’m ever given an opportunity to try Escargot than l always give it a shot and l was so happy to see it on the menu. I understand it’s an acquired taste but we loved it. Sizzling hot snails served out of shell in this cute teeny tiny little pots with beautiful garlic herb butter broth. YUM! The rest of the meals followed the same trend where everything was perfect and delicious.Meal Breakdown:Tarte FlambeeEscargotSaumon GueriPoisson En PapillotesCanard RotiIf you get a chance and fancy some French food than give @haig_rd_bistro a try.
