Mindaribba Weddings

The venue is absolutely amazing! Great atmosphere, beautiful photos, perfect for weddings with kids (we had 20 kids) and the owners let us land a helicopter in the back field for the brides arrival! (it's cheaper than getting a limo folks but has better impact). Our family and friends loved the venue and were amazed we found such an awesome place because not many were familiar with Tocal. Ian is a superstar, he was so helpful throughout the whole weekend, he went above and beyond to help us make our day perfect, and Bernie is spot on with her recommendations when it comes to catering, wine etc so don't ignore the advice people. Price wise it is comparable with most venues in the region after it's all said and done but far more flexible on what you can and cannot do. We had the place for 3 days, chilled out the following day in the pool with our closest family and friends, had a bbq, played lawn games, best wedding i've ever been to ;-)

an amazing venue with healthy and hydrated surroundings, a happy and exciting atmosphere plus the most lovely staff, very helpful and friendly but not to invasive. Made every guest feel comfortable and at home would definitely recommend this gorgeous and highly professional venue !!!

I had the absolute pleasure of photographing a beautiful wedding here on the weekend. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Not to mention the styling and general aesthetic of this place.. its absolutely breathtaking. I would highly recommend Mindaribba to anyone who is planning on having a stylish, heartfelt wedding in the Hunter Valley. 10/10

We got married at Mindaribba House in November 2018 and every aspect of the experience was perfect. The venue is relaxed yet sophisticated and we valued the special opportunity to enjoy a weekend away to celebrate with our family and friends at such a beautiful destination. Great care and detail has gone into creating this venue and you can’t help but notice the beautiful features and finishes across the whole venue. The staff, food and our communication with the venue in the lead up to the day were all seemless and the venue was very accommodating of all our wishes. We would highly recommend this venue to any couple looking for a unique, romantic and relaxed vibe for their wedding.

Having gone to so many different weddings venues I cannot believe that such a stylish place like Mindaribba exists in the Hunter Valley. We were blown away by the absolutely spectacular venue, outstanding five star service, out of this world food and access to a highly professional and proficient team in Bernie and Ian. I cannot recommend it highly enough, I wish I could give it 10 stars.

The venue is superb. Stylish and has a very relaxed, classy atmosphere. Bernadette is very clever with decorating. The staff hired to set up and the outside caterers were very helpful, friendly and efficient.Unfortunately once the deposit had been paid, we experienced extensive delays in email and text responses from Bernadette. We felt that there was little interest shown from that point on, that we were an inconvenience. Poor communication was a big issue for us.A pre meeting at the venue 4 months before the ceremony, was arranged with Bernadette to discuss details of the day, layouts, order of the day, supplies etc. A lady met us who knows Bernie but couldn’t answer our questions, she was apparently filling in. It was an unimpressive, uninforming meeting.We also found the other owner, Ian, rude on the wedding day in the manner with which he spoke to the bride to be, causing her to be visibly shaking and upset. The manner he used took some of the gloss off what should have been a seamless, euphoric day.The same happened with the groomsmen as they were getting themselves organised. It left a bad taste. I don’t know if any guests had interaction with him in the same way - they may be too polite to tell us.The next morning, while we still had occupancy, we also had unknown people show up for a site visit meeting. The owners weren’t there to meet them. The people didn’t know who we were and started asking us questions about the venue, while we were trying to pack up and get out by 10am.Our sound speaker disappeared (was moved to a safer place by staff) from their storage area overnight. It was finally found and posted back but not without slow response and lot of effort from us.Would still strongly recommend the venue, but just be aware.

Mindaribba House is one of my favourite wedding venues to photograph in the Hunter. The property is stunning and the friendly staff make it even more enjoyable. Can't recommend this place enough to anyone wanting a private wedding whilst surrounded by beautiful gardens and countryside.

We have attended Weddings twice now at Wallalong House and once at Mindaribba House. Not only are the venues magnificent. The food, service and overall experience are top notch. Unfortunately on the last occasion it did rain but the wet weather contingency saved the day and we all stayed warm and dry in the venue, so don't be put off by bad weather.The last wedding at Wallalong House we were fortunate enough to actually stay at the venue as part of the wedding party. I could not believe the cleanliness of the house and the quality of the bedding, french linen I believe. The bathrooms were full of Aesop toiletries and very well appointed.I would highly recommend anyone looking for a beautiful and professional wedding venue. Consistency plus.Robert

Oh my goodness, where do I start? We could not be happier and more in love with Mindaribba house. From the ceremony settings, food, wait staff, decor, location and so on - everything was just perfect for our big day. Our friends and family could not stop raving. Bernie and Ian were wonderful to deal with right from the start. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for playing a big part in helping make our special day so special. On the day/night everything ran seamlessly, Ian was such a huge help on the weekend, the sound system was fantastic, and staff were attentive, friendly and very good and what they do. Beautiful venue and highly recommend. Thank you Mindaribba!
