Awesome tourist attractions & lovely people, but in the middle of the tourist season and if you arrive in Normanton after 2.00pm please don't expect to find a place where you can sit down and order a meal. We tried every Pub and Cafe in town, and none of them where interested in our requirements, we asked just for some toasted sandwiches and the answer was sorry NO". To say the least our stop in Normanton was very short. Sorry for the negative comment but it's the truth. I have been there many times over the years and really enjoy the town."
