Skydive Great Ocean Road

This place has a very high skydive at 15,000 ft which is great. The scenery is awesome and the safety seems above board. The only downside was that the canopy ride part of the experience was very rushed. Other people I have spoken to have had a relaxing canopy ride where they were able to control the reins for that section of the experience. In this experience, the instructor corkscrewed us quite quickly down to the ground, which made me feel very sick. He told me this was necessary so that we get down safely. I wonder if they were in a rush that day because they had to cancel a lot of jumps in the morning so were trying to make up time by rushing people down.Either way, I'd recommend you call ahead and figure out if you will get a leisurely canopy ride and be able to take the reins, or it if it will be rushed as it was in this case. I didn't feel normal for another 2 hours, it was rough.The high freefall was awesome, though, and the process felt professional and efficient.Even though I declined to pay for the video up front, the instructor videod it anyway and I was able to purchase it later, which I appreciated.

I was nervous at first but we totally had an amazing experience. staff's were cool and friendly. This should be definitely be part of your bucket list. conquer your fear guys, it really felt good in the sky and i would love to do it again.

What an unforgettable and thrilling experience! This was my second jump and a first for my daughter. I can't speak highly enough about all your people's friendliness, care and professionalism. I'm glad I bought the video package and highly recommend it to others to capture your adventure.

Absolutely the most amazing experience of my 52 year old life. Biggest adrenaline rush ever for my first ever jump! Such a professionally run business. Many thanks to my instructor Youssef A who kept me calm and also made the experience so much fun! Can’t wait to do it again!

Had fun with my 2 sons.Good tandem skydive experience. The ground crew were great & the pilot too.The instructors Thom, Joan & Youssef were also fantastic making us calm through out. Should try this.

Absolutely amazing experience, friendly instructor

It was the most adventurous experience I have ever had. From check-in till the end of my tandem skydiving experience was positive. A bit nervous at first. Caesar, the instructor was very reassuring, professional, fun, and calming. The view was fantastic and the freefall was so far the best part of this. Safe and perfect landing. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience!!! It was not scary as expected, you would love very second of it after you jumped off the plane. Thanks very much to my instructor Max, he is the best! Outside camera filming is excellent as well!!! Thank you for having us :)
