Direct Freight Express - Mackay

My parcel sat in Mackay depot for 3 days and when u call them and choose “customer services” you get put on hold for minimum half an hour. Have they got that phone down the back of the building so they can’t hear it?

Very unprofessional, do not answer any form of communication. Tracking shows my parcel has been at the Mackay depot for 6 days. I've tried calling, no-one answers but they make sure the very annoying introductory goes on and on. Not happy at all. I will be in touch with the company I bought the goods from and put in a complaint.

Delivery has been delayed 3 times when my package is already in my town, would not recommend useless. customer service line leaves you waiting for 20 minutes minimum.

Had a courier show up to my house, rummage around in the back of the truck then leave, originally had a pretty bad review but they came back so they've redeemed themselves

Wow. Never ever use these guys. Partner & I run 3 companies from home & have in & out freight daily. These guys could even send the packages to the right house. Took 6 days to sort out with 7 phone calls. Not only did they lie about the delivery coming to my house they had the driver sign for it pretending to be the person at the wrong address it was taken too. Took them 6 days to go back to where it was delivered but the owner was away for a week with the freight not being there in the end. Then the driver stating to my face it had a different address on it to mine. Checked the con note had my address.Worse experience ever. Way better freight companies out there guys. Do not use.

Very quick delivery and service with a smile! Very helpful delivery driver. 4 days from Melbourne to Mackay at christmas! Makes other services look amateur.

Awful. Won't answer calls. Gave up after onhold for 30min. Nobody at branch 3 days in a row. Connote they gave out incorrect -5/10

Very poor customer service when trying to locate an undelivered parcel

My package arrived to the Direct Freight Express depot 8am yesterday (Thursday) morning. I gave them until 3pm today (Friday) to deliver but it didn't turn up. I called their contact 1300 line and the operator said that my package is still at the depot as the scan was showing. She said they were short of drivers and covid etc...was the reason for non delivery.I opted to pickup the package so asked the operator if I could have a contact number to check first, just in case the parcel isn't at the depot but she couldn't share it for confidentiality reasons. She gave me the address instead.When I arrived at the depot the office lady said that it was on board a vehicle for delivery but the driver has run out of time today so I won't get it until next week.I'm not sure what sort of express service they run there but it isn't very fast, especially since my package arrived yesterday morning at 8am (Thursday) and now I won't receive it until Monday of next week.Slowest courier I've had to deal with before. Maybe if the operator had made a phone call to find out exactly where it was, or the driver had updated the package status via on-board scan, then I would have known where it was and not wasted time driving to the depot.If they don't have customer service initiative, or technology onboard then maybe they need to work on that.Prior to that, the day was going well.

I got an order of medical supplies ordered together. One box of Two delivered took 3 days on and off the truck took 3 days with a 1km area of delivery and the second box was delivered 3 weeks later . Not good enough Direct Freight!!
