Most amazing service. I bought my machine here a few years' ago and get all my machine accessories from them. Took my machine back today as it wasn't stitching properly and about two hours later I got a phone call to say it was ready! Kathy had looked at it and found the problem (user error!!) Thank you Kathy, you are amazing and so very patient.

Took my sewing machine here to be serviced. Whilst the actual shop and the owner of the shop is lovely, DO NOT get your machine serviced here. The chap lost my spool cap, didn't solve an ongoing problem (although he had it twice and declared it fixed!) and the machine arrived back with dirty finger marks all over it and the thread cutter misaligned to the point of not being able to use it. Had a bit of a moan at the time and the shop lady was very apologetic but apologies don't fix anything and no discount was even offered. Definitely would not use them again.

Whilst I was still investigating the best new machine to buy, and where to purchase from, Bayside Sewing offered great advice with absolutely no sales pressure - just genuinely helpful. I love my new machine and am a new loyal customer. Thanks!

Have been going to this Buisness for over 10 years back when they were at another location, always have my machine serviced here and am very happy, I’ve done a few classes and really loved them, the ladies are so calm which is really good during the class.Easy to get a carpark. And they sell beautiful machines at great prices.Sell gorgeous materials.

Excellent shop. Friendly atmosphere and competent sellers. They helped to choose a good sewing machine. After buying a sewing machine, a free lesson is given, where they explain everything in great detail and answer all the questions. Convenient opening hours. The machine works well and without problems.

I have to say as a Melbourne resident trying to manage with our current lockdown period due to Covid virus it was a pleasure dealing with the owners in assisting me with my many questions about a coverstich sewing machine. I'm a semi retired bridal dressmaker of more than 25 years and have industrial machines so it was lovely to speak to Kathy who actually had good knowledge of all the products and the pros and cons of the machines I was looking at. Subsequently I purchased a beautiful Babylock brand coverstitch machine. I just love it and can't thank Bayside sewing enough.

I took my sewing machine in as it was making a strange noise. Cathy was able to help me there and then; it needed oil, silly me. Cathy is my sewing angel and couldn't be more helpful.

It is very disappointing- I have money to spend, have made 3 attempts to get there but the Cheltenham sewing centre is “ busy” , closed or” we don’t do Tuesday! I need a new machine and have tried 3 times to get into their store. Sat outside in the cold for 10 mins waiting for “my turn”, poor service at the moment- still doing the table at the door to reduce entries. Every other store has moved on- 35 days+ with no infections. It is forcing me to buy online - even when I prefer to shop local- only between 10-4 But not today. Have had good work with machine servicing before but sad they are not looking around to see how other retail is moving forward.

What an amazing experience I cannot recommend this place more for all your sewing needs. The service, the friendliness was very old school and I cannot fault my experience in anyway. Although I live about 30kms away, after this lockdown is over I will definitely travel there from now on for all my sewing needs. If I could give this place 10 out of 5 stars I would
