North Adelaide Foodland

This Foodland has everything you could possibly expect from a supermarket it’s not a convenience store but a full size supermarket in the heart of North Adel. Their prices are fair and they have the usual weekly specials. You can park out the front for a quick pop in but keep in mind the time restrictions for O’Connell St. They also have an off St large carpk for that longer shop.

Difficult to find with refurbishments going on. Well stocked with many treats.

Stocks a wide variety of produce and freshly made salads and a variety of tinned and fresh and frozen food stuff.

Poor stock rotation, wife purchased a product from the fridge section but product was out of date which poses a heightened risk during pregnancy. I didn't complain however upon returning a few weeks later the same issue occured again with another out of date product on the shelf, this time i reported to management and did not purchase, 12 months later and still finding out of date products in the fridge section.

Awesome shopping experience tasting also. Organic produce available. Well done Drakes. Also acknowledging Balfour frogs ♡♡

A nice, clean store. Has a good range of goods, nice range of smallgoods & cheeses in their deli department. The vegetables are nice & fresh, but I was disappointed they didn't have any loose chillis, only prepacked.

I am very impressed by the produce and staff at this store, I went in to get some bagged pickles as i have been craving the since being released from my confinement. I went in and was unable to find them so i went over to some staff and asked them if they could help me retrieve some of these pickles. The young man that i went over to was very helpful and got me a nice Big Papa pickle. I will not be returning though as my parole has been revoked. THANK YOU ROMEOS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This place is by far outstanding compare to Drakes in Collinswood. Worth the drive. Great selection of good quality foods. I like the good quality wide selection of chicken, bread & cheeses.Today Monday 19/12/22 @ 4pm. I got to one of the main tills. A beautiful young lady served me, she said she & her Mum were born here & her Dad was from Scotland.Outstanding service. She asked me if I had a romeo's card. I don’t ever remember having one or being asked before.She checked my number & I was on record. She made sure that I got a new card & that it was working.She was so incredibly helpful. She had a gorgeous smile with a personality to match. Could you please thank her.One of the best beautiful service I have ever had.I was already having a bright day & she made it even brighter.THANK YOU

Excellent service, quality goods and products. Better shopping experience than the other major supermarkets, staff are always helpful.
