Lady Elliot Island Eco Resort

Visited Lady Elliot on a day trip and what a beautifully stunning little island. Our guide for the day was awesome and the snorkelling was simply stunning. The bird life was incredible, a true piece of paradise and the fact that they are fully self sustained is impressive.

Exclusive, divine. The island, the resort, the sea life, bird life, Staff, organization - everything is 10/10. The best experience of the Great Barrier Reef. Photos don't do it justice, but damn can you get some amazing photos to remember your time there.

Lady Elliot Island is a very beautiful coral cay in Great Barrier Reef. I only took a day tour from the Gold Coast. Taking a very pleasant and scenic flight from the Gold Coast. Then our tour guide showed us around on the island. Got to go snorkeling and see quite a few sea turtles. Water is so clear that you can easily see marine life above the water. Lots of fish and sea cucumber along the shore.A very nice place that I would love to visit again❣️

Had an awesome stay here! The staff were absolutely lovely, the food was fantastic and we got to see so many sea turtles, manta rays and sharks snorkelling off the island. As well as lots of cool fish. The staff are also incredibly knowledgeable about the reef and animals and keen to share their knowledge with you. Would definitely stay again. 5 stars!

We absolutely loved this place. Wonderful location (obviously) and many opportunities to explore both the island and surrounding reef. Excellent educational opportunities from staff. Food was splendid as well.

Went on a day trip to Great Barrier Reef which is about 2 hours flight from Gold Coast Airport. Well worth it! The snorkeling is fantastic! Beautiful corals, turtles and fishes are plentiful. The guide is very good too, showing us around the island, explaning their conservation effort.

Bucket list location. I swam with Manta Rays, sharks and turtles. Got to see baby turtles hatching and scrabbling down the beach into the water. Perfect weather, fantastic staff and great food. Can't recommend highly enough. It's not 5 star accommodation, but if that's what you're after, go to another island. The rooms were great for our stay.

Lady Elliot would have to be one of the most amazing locations on the planet. I've been there twice now and on both occasions without even trying got so close to giant turtles as well as coral reef fish, that you could reach out and touch them (I didn't, but it was amazing!).

I had the trip of a life time!!Thank you LEI!My trip started off with a private flight to the island and a pilot called Peter who gave great commentary on what we were seeing on the way and a bit about the island itself. It is very noticeable that the crew is handpicked as every staff member is so friendly, cheerful and knowledgeable. They clearly love their job and are always there to help! Special shout out to Caitlin who gave amazing presentations and tours and Chris who was my dive instructor and who was very 'wisdomess'.The food was delicious and plentiful with heaps of different desserts. And of of course the wildlife here is second to none! Among other things in my 5 days here I saw at least 5 different species of sharks, manta rays, eagle rays turtle egg laying and turtle hatchlings!!I can't wait to ba back and even maybe work here one day;)Thank you for a beautiful holiday!
