Nice view of harbour bridge. Very close to coal loader. An easy spot for NYE fireworks.

There are public toilets a stones throw away at Waverton Park and also at Balls Head Reserve. This is where the old BP site used to be and a great spot to go for a walk. It has a stunning view of the city and is a perfect place to watch the fireworks to welcome in the new year.

Best place to go for evening and morning walk. If you residing in North Sydney then this is just walkable distance. Winter season best. Summer time afternoon you feel bit hot here but you can sit in waverton park for some time.

This park is an amazing adaptive reuse of the former oil handling terminal that was located here, with elements of its industrial heritage forming the bulk of the park area. There are numerous walking paths and vantage points as well as ample interpretive signage explaining how the terminal operated. Located about 15 minutes walk from North Sydney, the closest place for food and drinks is the Coal Loader site on the other side of the headland. Easy to combine with a visit to Balls Head reserve.

Right next to Waverton park and also on the way to or from Coal Loader, one of those sites that is sorta hidden away but also is accessible.Great view of the harbor and city, used to have the old oil and petrol storage tanks in here and now its gone you can see these huge circular areas exposing sandstone cliffs.Has walking paths, some stairs, some lookouts and dogs allowed as well.

Great views of fireworks. Great views of Sydney CBD at any time of day and very good at night to get reflection off the water.
