Toongabbie Creek
Absolutely beautiful with great walking tracks. A bit more rubbish removal by the council after a flood would be good. It's in the trees so you can't reach it as a walker. Lovely bird life as they have large grass areas full of seed and a lot of lantana that the birds hide in.

A good place for some relaxed birdwatching. Species you might spot include superb fairy-wrens, red-browed finches, New Holland honeyeaters, little wattlebirds and red-whiskered bulbuls, just to name a few, and you'll definitely hear the bell miners even if you don't see them. Galahs, kookaburras, sulphur-crested cockatoos and rainbow lorikeets abound.
