Always amazing! Tessa is the absolute best, has been doing my blonde for 4 years+ and always gives the best advice and information, and results are always phenomenal. Superstar with foils, loves what she does and will chat through lots of options with hair types etc for what you're after. Thank you thank you Tess.

Made a 5:00 p.m. appointment this morning for a trim of my straight long hair. Just wanted an inch or so off the ends. I did not nominate a specific hairdresser. At 5:35 p.m. I am still waiting. People that have come in after me are getting seen to but not me. I eventually went up to the desk to ask what was happening and was told, bad luck your hairdresser is running behind and won't be available until about 6:00 p.m. No one thought it would be good customer service to mention this at 5:00 p.m. when I walked in. No one thought that it might be worth seeing to me first before others that were coming in for 5:30 appointments. I walked out as I did not want to get my hair cut at a salon that completely disreguarded me. I will never go back and would not recommend them to anyone.

Avoid Alex. We all make mistakes but when a customer makes an appointment requesting a specific service booking and you don't properly read your booking sheet and do the wrong service it is called negligence. A competent and skilled employee will also double check with the customer before beginning to clarify the service needed. Neither happened. But I let it go on the day, we made the best (I thought) out of the error (no apology given). I got slightly confused however only when, after a discussion about cutting curly hair dry, which Alex wholeheartedly agreed with, She combed my now dripping, wet hair straight, not even towel dried hair to cut a longer piece off that I thought was uneven. I protested and She got severely offended. It was bizarre. The next day I rang to get an appointment to fix the massive hair colour error more apparent after my hair dried. Well, Alex informed me that I was rude and everyone there hated me anyway. I kid you not!!!!!!! I hung up and cried. I'd been going there regularly for a year and genuinely liked the team. Alex only just started there. Seems there are similar complaints about Alex from the south Melbourne Salon too. Alex's fragile ego will vindictively, expertly, turn their error back on to you.

My daughter came for a simple cut, after an hour after the appointment time, with no aknowledgement of her sitting waiting she received a cut that wasn't what she asked for.After arriving home and showering it was evident that the edges were uneven and badly cut - it looks like it was chewed rather than cut.No resolution was forthcoming from the salon having raised these issues.Stay away if you value your hair

This is a very friendly hair salon. I've had some great cuts here and very economical. You can choose how much or how little they do. For example if you just want the cut without the wash first and styling after then that's all you pay for. Conversely if you want the works that's also available

This is has been my hair salon since 2011.Doesn't matter that I no longer live close by, I travel to get my hair done here.Amazingly service. Ability for them to get my hair to any colour (blond, pink, purple) is amazing.Great cut as well. And best of all, affordable prices.

I have been going to Volume hair for approximately 9 years now and could not be happier. All the staff are lovely, friendly and welcoming. Tess has been my hairdresser over the last five years and I could not compliment her enough on her colouring for blondes. She is perfect weaving through the blonde with her foils. I have had many issues with other hairdressers at different salons in the past and I wouldn’t go anywhere else.Heidi
