My Sanctuary Nail Salon

Poor quality of work at a ridiculous price. I had a pedicure with no polish. Had to ask for my feet to be bladed which was done very poorly. Nails cut badly. Charged $35Seems like there is no competition so they can do and charge whatever they like. Never again.

I love getting my nails done here. The staff are extremely friendly, and are always ready to advise me on a change of colour or what shape of manicure to try.Helen always does my nails for me, I have very sensitive hands and nails, she is really careful with my manicure.It is such a fun, friendly salon.I receive heaps of compliments on my nails, so I would love to recommend them.It can get a bit hectic at times, with holidaymakers spoiling themselves, so try and book.Helen and her staff will always try their best to fit you in.

Their appointment setting skills are pretty bad... it was very evident they were understaffed, and when you book to come in with 5 people you kind expect to share the experience together not be pushed all around the store at different times.Considering a Shellac mani and pedi cost $75 which is up there on the high end of equivalent Sydney prices, on the 3rd day after the clear varnish they put over top is yellowing and you can tell the shellac hasn't been applied appropriately because if I touch a corner I know it will easily peel off.Consider taking your appointments way more seriously and advising your walk ins of realistic timeframes.

Very bad experience at this 'salon'. Very poor job on a standard manicure. Red polish was all over my cuticles, no base coat and my original nail polish was not taken off until I pointed this out. The staff were very rude when I pointed out the polish on my skin and was blamed for my cuticles being in 'poor shape'. No paraffin wax treatment available as advertised on website.

I found the woman who painted my nails unfriendly as she would not speak to me and I felt uncomfortable when she continued to speak to the other employee in another language while they both stared at me. She tried to avoid using a base coat and got frustrated when I asked for it. She also rushed despite the shop only having one other customer. She did not remove all of the original nail color and also did not paint the entire nail so as a result you can still see the old nail polish. I only asked for my nails to be painted, no manicure or buff or shape... just color and they charged me more then what it costs on their price list to get buff shape and shellac. They then rushed me out with wet nails. Won’t come back here again.

Poor quality of work. My sister and I went to get a file, buff and application of shellac polish for our cousins wedding. My sister's nails were done so poorly they look as if a toddler had painted them. All over the cuticles, side walls and skin around the nails, uneven down the side of the nail and some nails weren't completely covered in polish. As mentioned in previous reviews, the staff were rushing and don't seem to care about their work or the fact that the customer is paying for a service which you expect to be better than what you can do yourself. A bit of a disappointment that's for sure. Do not recommend!

If I could have left no stars I would have for this very disappointing business. The furnishings are dirty, there were no customers in there and they had very limited SNS colours available. This should have alerted me to the fact that this probably wasn’t a very popular business. They do not take EFT And had no signage visible to indicate this. They charged $50 for SNS which is so overpriced compare to anywhere else that I have been. They were rude and discourteous and we will not be back.
