Our garden was a bit of a challenge as there were existing trees and plants that we wanted to keep. Amy helped us by selecting plants that would suit the particular situation and advised us about what soil preparation was needed as well as what care would be needed after planting. I came across Amy purely by chance after enquiring if any of the staff at a local garden centre undertook private horticultural work. I had two large garden beds that I wanted to revamp but after several years of putting in new plants, only to find that they died, I was reluctant to waste any more money.I contacted Amy and met with her to discuss my requirements. She tested my soil and explained the various types of services she offered and we agreed that she would provide me with a list of suitable plants which I could then either plant myself or have her plant for me. Amy sent me a very detailed quotation (so there were no hidden surprises) together with a list of plant recommendations including her suggestions to improve the soil in the garden beds.I found Amy to be professional, extremely knowledgeable and very willing to work within my budget. As I wasn’t familiar with some of the proposed plants, Amy suggested we meet at a local garden centre where she spent a considerable amount of time going through the various options and suggesting alternatives based on my likes/dislikes.I was initially going to do the planting myself but I was so impressed by Amy’s professionalism, horticultural knowledge and ability to understand exactly the look I was hoping to create that I asked her to complete the work for me. Once planted, Amy explained how I needed to maintain the garden beds and she then put this information in an email to me.I am so pleased with the results that I have asked Amy to undertake further work for me. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Amy.

Amy has came and helped me a few times to get my garden in better shape. She has so much knowledge about plants and how to get them healthy. HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER!. Cant wait to have my front garden redesigned.
