Hoppy's Handwash Cafe - Toowong

If customers are expected to wait 1hour plus to have their car washed I would have thought free wifi would have been provided.

Don’t bother if you have a voucher they’ll push through all the paying cars and skim over yours since your not paying. Also the cafe couches seats smelt terrible like dried human sweat had stuck to the fabric. 1hr 30 min sitting in that horrible cafe.

Paid $75.50 for a clean with vacuum and wipe down of interior. Very disappointed. Have photos to show plenty of dirt still on the inside. One pair of thongs were chucked up on the back seat. Water marks everywhere. Sticky marks.

Came for a quick body wash, found a very efficient system in place. Job was reasonable $30 for external body wash reduced to $24 with senior discount.Many cars and repeat customers there

If you would like your car to look like this after it’s been washed then please visit this place. My fingers took the dirt off better then the wash!!!!

i’m regular customers. all my car i bring there. before this really good service. now days very bad services and too expensive. and dont try waste your money to go there. 100% i’m not going there anymore.

Terrible. Spent $140 and I wonder what for. Bugs still stuck on car. Car mats not placed back correctly.. Not vacuumed properly. Marks on seats and door trims that weren’t there before. Should have done it myself. I could tell they were rushed and didn’t care from the cafe. Photos taken. Do not waste your hard earned.

This is the first time I can say I have no complaints. Wash and interior vacuum perfect. Keep it up.

Arrived at the Toowong facility, roughly a 10 minute wait in my car before someone came to greet me. I was unsure of which service I wanted so was asking a few questions about the differences as this was for a rental car so didn’t know which option would be the best. The attendant was very blunt and said “a basic wash and vac is a wash and vacuum, its in the name, very self explanatory”. That rushed me to make a decision and left me feeling like I couldn’t ask more questions. I then waited for 50 mins before my car was ready. All for a “basic wash and vacuum” as I kept being reminded. A very average job was done, considering how long it took. Pretty disappointing service.

I’ve been a Route 66 club member for several years now for both mine and my wife’s car, and I’ve always been happy with the quality of the service. There can be busy times, but generally I’m done and gone within 15-30 mins. All of the staff have always been very helpful, and no matter how hot/cold or busy it is, the greeters Paul and Corry are always friendly.
