Didn't intend to buy lunch here today, but went in and ordered a fish burger, 3 cocktails and a calamari and chips pack with extra calamari rings. Also ordered 2 potato scallops. Staff member was polite, order was ready in approx 15 minutes but once I arrived home, there was no potato scallops or extra calamari. I typically check before I leave and I didn't, my mistake. However, I think why should I HAVE to double check, happens way to much these days and it's frustrating.

I rang around on the fish and chip shops and on that day. They are all closed. I call the salt, mine fish and chip shop and they said yes they’re open. I ordered some fish and chips and they save the day. It was so nice I quite enjoyed the fish, thank you once again for looking after us so well from michael

Definitely my favourite fish n chips shop in port Stephens area. Great people n great service n freshly cooked fresh seafood. Battered on the spot not pre-made and I always order family pack. Must go to if ur in the area.

Have been a regular customer for 20+ years and quality has always been great with good service. But tonight it was not good at all. Grilled fish (barra) was very small and thin. Ordered prawn cutlets pack, went to pay - not available - but no offer of substitute. Asked for calamari, could not do that also. Did not look after customer who was without a meal. Hope tonight was just an aberration !!

Good quality Fish and chips slightly pricey but expected for the area.Order took 20 mins to prepare so if your in a hurry would advise you ring up and order ahead of time for pickup.Best thing we ate was the pineapple fritter, everything else was just ok.
