Great location for a picnic, kids to runaround, hire the hall for a birthday etc, through the winter months many junior sporting events use the oval. Free BBQ's on site, some now covered , resulting from council upgrades to include roofing and new pathways

Great for families. Large open grassed space with lovely trees for children to play and throw a ball and to walk your dog. Great fenced playground next to BBQs. Next to playground is the Community Hall for hire, toilets, and adult fitness equipment. In the planning stages is a fenced dog walking area. Great community space! And a corner shop across the road!

Great fenced, off lead dog park that is very well frequented. Council needs to invest more money in some more water features for the dogs in summer and lighting in the dog park for winter. Consider parking on the street and walking as parking is minimal

April 2022 n I am walking in darkness at 10.20 pm at John Turnbull dog park. Place is fenced in but there are gaps allowing small dogs to squeeze through. Also, the place could do with more lights at night. Great place to walk your dog, let it run free and meet other dog owners but not this late at night. Place is clean n green, ideal for a morning walk or evening stroll too. Glad to be back in Tasmania after two years.

Love the dog park, fully fenced off and well kept. People are friendly and I've never had any issues with my pup there! Access to plastic bags, bins and water as well as a separate area for young and small dogs. Super nice if you don't mind a bit of mud!

Love utilising the community hall here. Otherwise, the public toilets are OK, but no easy access
