GFP Events

Horrible. Disaster. They will ignore you. I have ordered my regalia gown, mortar board, grad bear plush toy and cert frame way back in Feb. The website said it will be delivered in 7 days. I have followed up a number of times but they just ignore you. I have escalated to my University as well . They are just so bad to deal with. The gown only arrived after six weeks, the mortar board is small, the grad bear plus toy is missing and they dont know where my cert frame are. I have asked them to refund me and Ill just return the regalia but they will ignore you so dont waste your time contacting their support team. I am filing a complaint to the ACCC on Monday as I paid $580 for all these and I want my money back. I have asked for their return address so I can surrender the grad gown but they have not responded either. I am sure Aus universities can find better suppliers, not sure why they go with GFP. Id rather not have a regalia than to deal with them candidly. Just really bad experience and I really dont think they care that’s the saddest part.

Paid so much money for a photography package on my graduation day, they gave me a USB with all of my photos on it. Could not see any photos at all when I put it onto my personal laptop, tried on another as well. I went to kodak to try and print them, the employee stated that the USB is in apple format only, not suitable for any other computers!!!! Now I have to find an apple computer and transfer all of my photos onto a new USB! Good way to get people to purchase photos from their website so they can make more money off students! Would have been better off taking my own photos on a phone!!

My daughter graduated in MCEC last Wednesday (17 August 2022). I paid $50 to get a printout and access the digital photo download. I went to grads.gfp.com.au to download the digital photo but no photos are downloadable or viewable. The photos are supposed to be available within 2 days but accessing them generates an error: Oops! Stage Photography Not found. Sorry

Worst company to have ever wasted our time with. If there was an option to not give any stars, then this would be it.We’ve experienced many photographers and companies and this is by far the worst service and scam we’ve ever come across. They charged $300+ just to take 8 poses (their version of the platinum package) AND to our shock, additional $300+ to then purchase those images!We were the 5th in the queue and at the front of the line. We still had to wait over an hour before our photos were taken.The photographers only specialise in taking the graduates photo and no one else. Another sham of their ‘service’ was when a fellow graduate waited in line for over 2 hours and by the time she reached the front, got denied. These people really should be reported to ACCC.

My daughter graduated from Monash Uni (May 2023), and GFP did the photo shoot in a well organised and professional manner. They even managed to accommodate some shots of my other daughter who had graduated during the Covid lockdown, so couldn't attend an in-person ceremony. They were very patient. The photos were available the morning after they were taken. The queues for photos were quite long, but were processed quickly as they had lots of photographers available.

Extremely disappointing. I booked flowers for my daughter's graduation 3 weeks in advance. When I went to collect it at the venue I was told there was some technical issue and they gave the flowers to someone else. They wanted to offer teddy bears for equivalent value.

GFP really made our son's graduation day very special. The staff were fabulous and could not do enough to ensure the pictures were just fantastic. So polite and very professional I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants to get something special on their special day whilst being treated like royalty. Really made a special day fantastic!

Extremely upset and disappointed with the service provided by GFP graduations. On my graduation day, we waited around 3 hours in the queue for the photoshoot only to have the photographer completely direct the way my family & I had to pose. There was absolutely no freedom on my own graduation day to take the pictures however we wanted to as the photographer was rude and directive. We paid so much for graduation pictures we barely like.Due to the unexpected long wait time, I missed the collection of my stage photo and was told by one of the GFP graduation staff that it would be shipped to me free of charge along with a plaque of my testimur my partner had ordered for me. I was also told I would be sent an email with a link to upload my testimur for the plaque. Weeks went by with absolutely no contact from GFP graduations. I then submitted an enquiry online and no one got back to me.Spoke to someone from customer service today and I was told I had to pay an additional $15 for the shipping fee and that it was essentially my fault for not collecting the stage photo. I asked for a refund instead then and was told I was unlikely to get it.This company charges an immense amount of money only to not deliver services as expected and to have rude employees. So disappointing. Would not recommend to anyone.

I’m literally still standing in the queue getting photos done of my sons graduation. It’s been two and a half hours and we still haven’t got our prints! We paid for a gold package that has totally spoilt our experience of our sons graduation. We didn’t even get a chance to join the rat if his cohort to have a celebratory drink or nibbles in the lawns. This will be the memory of his graduation. Terrible experience. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Still waiting for my order and its been 2 months. I've been told it will be another 6 weeks to arrive. It took them over a month to process my order. Their system seems to be unorganized because they are not receiving my emails in the right place so they also took long to get my correct shipping address which I also provided at the time I placed the order. I was explaining my issue on the phone and their customer service just cut me off and dismissed me by saying they will fix it now. Quite disappointing
