Handcrafted Tasmanian Gin, Whisky and Spirits – King Island Distillery | King Island Distillery is a story about Happy Heidi bravely becoming the tenth legal distillery in Tasmania after falling in love with the Tasmanian pioneers and distillers. Local artisan spirits crafted with, ‘happy heidi attitude at 40°S Latitude’. This is one of few female owned/operated distillery world-wide.

Absolutely wonderful lady. I was on a tour and couldn't make it to the distillery door. Heidi hand delivered my King Island Single Malt whisky to the lunch venue! She is a legend! Can't wait to start on the whisky.

Heidi is an extremely passionate and knowledgeable distiller. Generous tastings of the whole collection were on offer, including gin, whisky and other spirits. Free postage available for bulk purchases for those worried about luggage limits. The ruby grapefruit spirit was the stand out for me!

A wonderful gin tasting with the owner / operator. Not a surprise that they have won several Best In Australia awards! And they have beautiful local honey from the many hives in the surrounding paddocks as you enter. Beautiful experience and beautiful business!

Heidi was very teacher like in talking about her days in starting this business of hers. With great support by local fellows to us the tourist the customers who were entertained and amazed by her achievements. The coffee liquor omg is amazing and my fiancé enjoyed the whisky the gin the lemon one too. Few laughs and walking away with a few of her amazing products. Thankyou Heidi

Wow! Greeted at the King Island distillery by Heidi and a very impressive selection of small batch distilled gins and whiskeys. Didn't take much of a tasting to take 3 bottles home! A must visit while on King Island.
