Sweeney's Swim School

Great and friendly staff and perfect swimming environment for babies and toddlers to learn. Also, they don't overdo the chlorine for kids like other pools.

My son absolutely loves his lessons at Sweeneys. The instructors are fantastic and know each individual kid's limit. You feel part of a family at Sweeneys, not just another customer.I would highly recommend the Advance Tadpole classes.My daughter had lessons at a different school and wasn't confident in deep water til she was 5 but with Sweeneys lessons, I've been able to comfortably watch my son from the side while he jumps in the deep end unaided on holidays from 3yrs. His lessons have made him confident and very competent in the water which is why i chose to travel 30min to have him taught at Sweeneys. Thanks for everything x

Really great environment, taking into account my sons hearing loss. I like watching how much he improves each lesson. Also very kind understanding owners, staff and instructors. I prefer this swim school to the previous one he gets much more one on one time and trusts the instructors. Recommend for sure.

Sweeney's is the best swim school in Altona!! The instructors are fantastic and my children absolutely love coming to their lessons every week.We highly recommend!

Our kids came across from another swim school and we could not have been happier. They learnt and improved so much, always had a great time as the staff are all super engaged and caring. Family feel which is wonderful.

Best method I found. It really teaches kids how to swim and water safety. My son improved very fast...in 3 months he was able to cross the pool in freestyle. Great instructors!!

Simple and friendly swim school for young ones.

We went here based on reviews, I wish I had checked out another swim centre first as they are so behind with the times! All you do is laps up and down the pool (started my child at 6 months stayed until 9 months) my child learnt nothing. We left to try another swim school and my child now goes under the water, has fun, isn't bored and super confident. It's like day/night. I regret going here. Not only are the lessons not stimulating the change rooms are cold and the reception staff tried to rip us off on many occasions accusing us of not paying or missing classes that we attended or not notifying them (when we did) and telling us we can't have our make up classes. The accusations from reception is what made us look around and I'm so glad we did. They need to get off the paper system and get an electronic system so they can track their accounts correctly or better communication between the two reception staff. We now do a swim school that does direct debit as making payment for us has never been an issue, the issue is being accused by staff who can't get their own stuff together.
