The Beef Shed

Absolutely fabulous! I've heard of this place from my folks (who go there regularly) but I went myself for the first time. Prices are reasonable, when compared to Woolies and Coles, but where they really shine is in the selection and the quality. Bang for buck you cannot beat it. I won't go anywhere else for meat from now on. The staff are really friendly and if they have the barbie out when you go, stop in for a truly epic feed as well.

Unbelievable range of meat. Worth the drive from Wellard! Great pricing too.(Review Edit) Upon opening my packet of 5kg rump I discovered a revolting, off smell. Would I be entitled to a refund? Paying $79 for a piece of meat that's off is unacceptable and more needs to be done when turning stock over. Tried calling to report this but no one answers the phone.

Good range of various meats. Prices are not too bad compared to other places. Also, they will cut the meat to order as well.

I have been here twice. On both occasions I have purchased off meat. I let the first occasion slide as it was just $2 pet mince.Second occasion, I purchased Beef Spare Ribs on the 8th March with a best before date of 4th March – didn’t even think to check the date as I believe there should be a certain level of trust that they have standards. On 9th March, I opened the packet – meat was covered in green slime and smelt disgusting! This is when I checked the date. VERY DISAPPOINTED TO SAY THE LEAST!Yep, it was only $10.47 but I am not a charity case – I requested a refund. They were happy to do that on their terms: I bring the meat back in along with the receipt (which I still have).Except I live an hour away and $10.47 simply isn’t worth the drive. The Beef Shed blamed their “supplier” and failed to take accountability for their failure to comply with the simplest of standards.To be honest if it was just 1 maybe 2 days past the expiration, I wouldn’t care so much but this is 4 days AND NOT EVEN REDUCED IN THE SLIGHTEST!!! Not to mention the fact they thought it was OK because they put “best before” instead of “use by”.Wasn’t going to mention it but since I am unhappy with standards – some of their employees are incredibly rude at the check-out!After seeing other reviews very similar - AVOID THIS PLACE - it's only a matter of time until someone gets seriously sick.

Busy place lots of variety of meats and condiments reasonable prices take your own bags

Excellent range of bulk meat options, including lamb, pork and chicken. Good variety of roasts, rib options and other speciality cuts available. Prices are very competitive. Good shelf life as well courtesy of the vacuum sealed packaging.Will be shopping here again.

Great selection of various meats, soft drinks, meat rubs and sauces. Free dog bones as well. Nice and quiant local butcher. Will definitely visit again for our next bbq.

Did not know varieties of meats available in one place in Perth. Worth it, very reasonable price. Although I live in Mosman Park, around 45 minutes drive.Will definitely visit again
