Giriwa walking track
Although this track feels deserted since cars were stopped from driving to the picnic areas it’s still a beautiful spot. Almost feels like you’ve discovered something long forgotten. Informative signs on aboriginal history and living around the lake and the Burrill Lake Rockshelter was an interesting find right on the edge of the housing estate.

Giriwa walking track
This short walking track can be accessed from Wyoming Avenue - the NPWS directions are not accurate - don’t follow them.Anyway this delightful walk talks you through woodlands and foreshore, providing a varied and interesting array of environments. The track is wide and gravel, so easy walking. 6km there and back. A series of interpretation signs provide insight into local Aboriginal traditions and former customs.
